KawecoSkyline Sport fountain pen, in mint, nib sise m (medium)

I got the black EF (extra-fine nib) version, it came in a plastic zip-lock bag along with an instruction/guarantee leaflet, a Kaweco sticker and a flat-packed small kaweco cardboard box for it - so if you want the unboxing experience you'll have to box it yourself first. It also came with a fresh ink cartridge stored in the barrel. All arrived undamaged. This has quickly turned into my most used pen, it's lightweight, very well-made and compact-when-closed, it screws closed so should be pocket-safe. It all works very well, pretty smooth for such a fine fountain pen. Not too wet - so pretty quick to dry since it's so fine: which is good as I'm left-handed and liable to smearing everything. Not quite as fine as a Japanese EF nib (e.g. a Pilot), but pretty fine nonetheless. I also bought a clip and converter so I can use bottled inks - the clip kept sliding off the incredibly glossy barrel but I found wetting the barrel before putting the clip on and leaving it to dry on seemed to sort that. This would make a great first fountain pen, or a great everyday-carry for anyone, though if you've got huge hands you might want something a bit bigger.

Great little daily writer. The colour was a little disappointing, it’s quite a muted red not the slightly brighter colour shown in the pictures but that’s not the end of the world.Sturdy, compact, and perfect if you’re like me and prefer pocket sized notebooks as the extra fine nib is VERY fine. If you have bulky writing or usually write in A4 or A5 notebooks then opt for the medium nib.Small bit of ink creep on the nib from time to time but that’s more of a feature of the fact that it’s in my pocket a lot. Great for daily carrying.Takes any short cartridge, Kaweco have some nice colours but I currently have it loaded with some Mont Blanc refills.Great pocket pen for quick writing and notes, not really for long form but I would be curious to try some long form writing with the medium nib.

This is really a lovely pen as others have said. I am delighted with it, very comfortable to hold & writes nicely with medium nib. Good for those who cannot hold ordinarily sized pens for very long. Unusual pretty colour adds to its attractiveness..It does not have a clip so you can latch on to a pocket or something similar but easy enough to slip into a bag's small pocket or zipped pocket in a jacket/coat to keep it safe.I have no hesitation in recommending this product.

The pen arrived in just a polythene sleeve, no box. Looks a nice little pen but my one writes very poorly. Very poor ink flow and it keeps skipping.I have a small collection of fountain pens and this one is by far the worst.I realise I may have just got a bad nib.I purchased another Kaweco nib, what a difference, writing well, very smooth and good ink flow. As I said in first review I had a bad nib. Should not be the case with a respected brand.

I bought the pen almost two years ago. Very beautiful and tiny pen. After using 2 years, the pen still works well. Very happy about the purchase.

I love this pen - for the money it's such good value and better than some more expensive pens. The colour is very pale blue-green and it writes beautifully, particularly with the Kaweco palm green ink. Fits in a pocket / handbag really nicely - very highly recommended indeed (I will be buying them in all the colours eventually).

Favourite thing to write with, perfect nib size for me and the ink flows smoothly. I do use it with the kaweco ink so can't say if it would for all ink cartridges but I love these.

So disappointed with kaweco. Quality has gone down the drain. Very gritty/scratchy when writing. Plastic feels cheap. Looks like this will be the last Kaweco purchase I made.

These fountain pens are quickly becoming my favorite! They are so light weight and small they fit well in my hand. My only problem with this order is I ordered an extra fine nib but received fine.

Kaweco Sport fountain pens are perfect in my hand. They are compact enough to carry in a pocket, but when posted, are a comfortable writer for me. I prefer EF and F nibs, and was not disappointed - this nib wrote right away. There is feedback - it is EF, but I prefer that to a "buttery smooth" writer. To each his own.
