A very handy pump. Works well. Noise levels are high but a fair trade in my books.

You've heard of "Whistle while you work" from the Seven Dwarfs. Now, you get "whistle whilst you pump" ;-) This is a great foot pump that easily inflates a single air mattress in a few minutes and deflates it too. However, it whistles everytime you put your foot down on the pump and it isn't a quiet subtle sound either. Oh no, it is a very loud whistle due to the ribs of the pipe between the pump and the item you're inflating. Yes, you can make dogs bark from miles away but I do not think it will be accepted on a quiet campsite. We'll find out when I go camping next week :-D Overall though, it is well made and much bigger than expected. Just a shame about the loud whistling sound.

When we camp at the lake we use four inflatable floats. Usually we use a portable tire compressor to inflate them, but that is a very slow process. In fact I blew up a float manually faster than the compressor. But the biggest problem with the floats is trying to get the air out of them when it's time to pack up. Squeezing them never gets all the air out, making it difficult, if not impossible, to get them back into their containers. We finally decided to buy the Milestone Camping Foot Pump. It arrived fast and the Pump inflated the floats very quickly, far faster than I could have manually. But the deflating really impressed me. The Pump quickly sucked the air out of the floats, making them flat and easy to pack. They are now the flattest they've been since we bought them. For a good price, ease of use, great performance, and for saving time (and breath), I give the Milestone Camping Foot Pump five stars.

Reasonably priced and worked fine but the high pitched whistling sound coming through the tube is horrible and not something I’ve experienced with manual foot pumps in the past. It’s so loud and high that my three cats scarpered and didn’t return into the house for over an hour. It actually hurts the ears.

It works well, inflates properly, but takes a while to do so. I recommed trying to fill it first with a hair dryer (with cold air) and then finish with the pump. Otherwise you'll be hearing that pumping high pitch noise for a while, it can get annoying.

Nimmt wenig Platz weg. Meine Liftmatratze ist super leicht und schnell aufgepumpt gewesen. Macht leicht Geräusche beim Pumpen.

Helaas maakt de pomp een irritant hard fluit geluid. Het wordt veroorzaakt door de lucht die door de slang stroomt. Verder schiet de slang steeds los van de voetpomp. De slang zit met een schroefsysteem vast, maar direct daarna zit er ook een schuifsysteem. Deze schiet telkens los. Ik zou raad deze pomp daarom niet aan. Helaas is het termijn voor het retourneren al verlopen.
