The sticky side seems to have stuck strongly ... *by F***1 on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 July 2015* I bought this to velcro blackout fabric round my window. I stuck the hook side around the window frame and sewed the loop side to the blackout fabric. So far so good. The sticky side seems to have stuck strongly enough to the frame and hasn't peeled off so far (had it up about a week)The problem with sewing the other side onto the blackout is that it lets lines of tiny dots of light through all round the edge. It doesn't let in very much light though and with the curtain over the top it's fine. The velcro sticks to itself very well and I think it'll last well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sticks well *by L***U on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 June 2019* Bought this to secure bug screens to my UPVC windows. Worked a treat, the glue is very sticky so hopefully won’t be peeling off.The only minor issue was with the pack dispenser. There was no divider in the box to prevent the 2 reels sticky together so this made it impossible to dispense the tapes. This was easily resolved by putting a piece of card between the reels, just would have made sense for there to be a divider in there in the first place. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ cheaper than branded velcro & as good as velcro *by M***T on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 June 2011* I have been stgruggling to get some curtains up in my conservatory as we did not want to make holes in the frames. I tried glue-on hooks but they come off even with light curtains. Then thought of this and looked around before buying this one as it was much cheaper than the brand one. I did not want to spend £30 and find it would not work. I am more than pleased! Because I can stick a whole width on the window it takes the weight of the curtains and my plan is to have another set of curtains for winter. I am sure it will take heavier fabric and just need to buy the part sawn on the fabric. Very very good idea for any craft and where you do not want to make holes, especially on plastic.
