Great Purchase
Great purchase!Being a bald man, was targeted on advertising by similar products, but always go for a brand. What a purchase this was, great close shave, no mess, no cuts, grips the head well.Definitely ‘shaved’ off a bit of time in the mornings

As previous reviewers have said, it just doesn't do the job it's designed to. I bought it to replace a 25 year old Babylis trimmer which had eventually worn out. My decision, and a wrong one as it turned out, was based on the reputation I thought Braun had for quality products. Clearly Braun aren't the quality manufacturer they once were. This product is cheap plastic, Taiwan-made, with poor cutting blades. It doesn't cut effectively and is a waste of money.

this item i purchased from poundland many years ago, same workings

Lasted 15 months
When it was working it trimmed fairly well using the bare blade. Always felt a bit underpowered, needs an AA battery not AAA. Drains the battery quickly too.After 15 months of being used once a week for five minutes the drive spindle has worn out and won't move the blades any more.
