FRIO Insulin Cooling Wallet Large, Purple

This item is a must for diabetics on insulin. It does everything it claims and has kept my insulin cool and safe both at home and travelling abroad. You only have to place it in water to re-activate. I have found it best to keep it in use continually (hence I use at home and well as when travelling) as it did not seem to like drying completely out and then being used again later. It will start to take longer to re-activate as the product ages and eventually need replacing. I replace mine every 6 to 12 months as necessary. Worth every penny and would not be without it.

I recently went to Turkey for two weeks, and stayed in a hotel room with no fridge, I was slightly concerned that it would not keep the insulin cool as this the first time I had used it. However, after a couple of days I wondered how I had managed without it on previous holidays, It was so easy to use, and only required soaking in water every two days for approximately two to three minutes , I can not rate this product highly enough, as although I had previously used a cool bag with ice packs, this is so much simpler, An essential item for the storage of insulin, plus very reasonably priced.

Great product and really easy to use. Fits 5 insulin pens easily - I could probably get more in if I tried. Tried it in Italy and it kept the insulin cool all day in 30 degree heat.

It works very well just put in water for 19 minutes it’s that easy

Wow just what I needed. I am really pleased with the wallet and glad I bought the 5 pen wallet. I kept all my insulin at the correct temperature. It stayed cool enough for a week the a quick 2 - 4 minutes to boost it back up and away you go. I would like the thank the other reviewers who helped me choose it. I certainly recommend it.

This is my second Frio cooling wallet - the first one lasted for 8 years. I use it for Embrel injections, which need to be kept at lower temperatures than insulin. Even on longhaul destinations, the pack stays cool. Very happy with it, would recommend.

My husband has recently started to use insulin pens and we were recommended frio pouches by his diabetic nurse for when we travel. They are great. So far weve used them one a weeks glamping trip when we didn't have access to a fridge and the pouch kept the ones nice and cool. Next holiday is 3 weeks away in vegas.

This product turned up with German instructions with not a word of English on. After searching for instructions online I followed these and the item ended up defective. The first day it held cold and shape but after that it leaked gel everywhere and didn't keep anything cold. This was not a case of over soaking the product as it started leaking spontaneously. I contacted frio directly and they assured me this product was not through them and they would not be able to do anything about it

En la página no dice en cuánto mantiene la temperatura. Ya que llego el instructivo dice entre 15 y 26 grados centígrados. Mi hijo viaja con hormona del crecimiento que idealmente debe estar a 8 grados y Máximo en menos de 25 grados. Active el producto como dice, metí mi termómetro de refrigerador y la temperatura era de 23 grados desde el principio. Por lo que definitivamente no sirve para mantener el medicamento frío en un vuelo de 11 horas. NO lo recomiendo.

Da es auf "Mein Schiff" in den Kabinen keine Kühlschränke gibt, kam diese Kühltasche, die nur regelmäßig kaltes Wasser braucht, wie gerufen für meine Kreuzfahrt. Die Reserve- Pens sind bis zur Benutzung schön kühl geblieben. Trotz des recht hohen Preises eine sinnvolle Anschaffung.

Kept our insulin cold all over Mexico

Cette pochette a bien tenu mes stylos au température de 25 degrés ou moins pendant mon voyage à la République Dominicaine où les températures s'élève à 35 degrés. La compagnie aérienne n'a pas pu m'offrir la possibilité de tenir mes stylos dans un frigo et je craignais qu'ils seraient détruits dans la soute. L'utilisation de la pochette est très facile avec 5 minutes dans de l'eau froide pour activer les grains de gel. A noter qu'il faut absolument un ordonnance plus un courrier de son médecin traitant qui dit qu'on a du diabète et qu'on a besoin de l'insuline si on veut porter ces produits contenants de gel sur un avion.
