We love this Tea Kettle it’s fast and easy.

I bought this item with my own money, and this is an honest review of my experience with his item. I bought the green kettle, and it is not the bright limey color that shows. It is more of a Easter pastel green, very soft and appealing. But to be honest, LOL, I bought it for the price not for the color, although I do like the color. I was a leery of this item when I purchased it, but it was on sale for less that 16.00, and I needed a kettle that was stainless steel on the inside, had at least a 1 liter capacity, a large circumference top for getting water into it and for cleaning, a shut off feature when water comes to a boil, but light enough for me to pick up when full. This one checked all the boxes, so I purchased it. I bough this kettle on March 8, 2023. I have used this kettle not quite once or twice every single day, but close. I have seen no signs of rust. The plastic outer shell has not cracked or melted. I have had no problems with the cord or the plate it sits on. It shuts off when the water starts to boil. The top flips up nearly straight with plenty of room to get a hand inside the kettle to clean it, though if you have very large hands you might want to use a long handled brush for cleaning. There is a fill line inside on the stainless steel it is on the same side as the handle. When filled to the fill line it takes approximately 6 - 7 minutes to boil, depending on a lot of factors, such as water temp, environmental temp and etc. I usually turn it on, and do something else while it's heating up. The handle is nice and large for easy gripping. It may be suitable for those with arthritis because of the large handle with no sharp edges to dig into painful fingers. Depending on how much water placed in the kettle, it is lighter than some kettles if the same kind. If you fill it to the fill line it is still lighter than the majority of other electric kettles. The cord is not very long but you're moving only the kettle. not the base plate, it doesn't need to be very long. Do be sure not to leave it plugged in! In the instruction manual it tells you NOT to leave it plugged into the electrical socket because it isn't good for the kettle. I have followed that advise and so far I have had no problems. The on switch is in a great spot, at the top where the handle meets the main body of the kettle, so no tying yourself into knots to turn it on. It's a rocker switch so it takes only a light touch to turn it on. Again, great for those with arthritis. I have seen no signs of any of the things mentioned in previous negative reviews. This kettle so far has served me well. Make sure to register your item with the company on their website so you can take advantage of the warrantee that is longer than the return date on Amazon. So I have no complaints at all with this particular kettle. I give it 5 stars for: Function, form, ease of use, easy to clean, safety features, and weight when full.

Nice quality product at a really great price. A minor detail to note, this kettle takes a few minutes longer to reach a boil than some of the other products I researched and available on Amazon, for twice the money. However, it is very quick and much more efficient than a standard kettle for the stove top. If you enjoy tea it's a nice necessity to own. Easy to clean and handle with an ergonomic design. Safety features include locking attached flip top lid and plastic exterior that only gets slightly warm, also heat protection from accidental burns. Interior is stainless steel. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend this product. The green color that I ordered is a really pretty buttery minty green pastel ( like those tiny mints yah Nana had in a candy dish on her kitchen counter when you were a kid, After Dinner Mints I believe was the name of them ) I was hesitant to buy this color because it looked from my monitor to be more of an intense avocado green ( which is nice shade of green if that is what your looking for), I was not but decided to order it anyway because I wanted a green kettle. Turns out to be even better than expected. It's funny how some things in life just work out! It truly is the small things in life! Now go buy this kettle for yourself , make yourself a nice cup of tea and reread your favorite Judy Bloom book from the 5th grade and tell everyone to scram! You're Welcome!

Works like a champ, makes the water very hot very quickly. I often don't let it get to auto shut off because the water is too hot for my preference at that point. It's incredibly easy to clean, I do wish the top hole was a little wider for cleaning purposes. I read a lot of the reviews before my purchase, and in my experience it doesn't discolor except for the typical build up from our hard water. A little vinegar regularly clears it right up. Another review I saw mentioned the steam escaping from the on/off switch. The switch is close to the lid hinge and a few times I almost burned my thumb because I had my thumb over the hinge seam when I pouring the water. I would expect steam to escape from there and I no longer hold the kettle that way and no more issues. I think perhaps that maybe to others it seemed to come from the switch but it was actually the lid hinge. My only complaint is the cord. It's white and doesn't match the kettle and is very heavy duty and stiff. It makes it a little hard to neatly wrap the cord and stow it away, but I love the kettle anyhow and would recommend it to anyone looking for one.

On products like these, I prefer to wait a while to leave a review so that I can see how the item is going to hold up after some actual use. My Husband and I purchased the OVENTE Portable Electric Kettle on December 2nd of 2022 and as you can see from the review date, we've been using it for nearly a year now. We us this kettle every single day, throughout the coarse of the entire day. My husband and I drink a lot of tea... It has a double-walled stainless steel interior that keeps the heated water inside fairly hot for at least an hour. The inside is not seamless but we've had no problems with seam separation or rust/discoloration of any kind. The interior and exterior of the kettle have held up wonderfully. We have only ever used a mild soap and a plastic bristled bottle brush to clean our kettle's interior and then just rinsed it out really well. The exterior of it wipes clean with a damp cloth. I did check lots of reviews on lots of kettles before deciding on this one and a the deciding factors for me were water capacity, price, the auto-shutoff safety function and of course the reviews. This one holds 1.7 liters, which was more than similarly priced kettles. Currently, the OVENTE Portable Electric Kettle is priced at $19.99 and that is still a great price for a kettle of this quality, in my opinion. One of the features I love about this kettle is the auto-shutoff of the power button on the handle, once the water hits boiling temperature. The auto-shutoff button still works perfectly and still lights even nearly a year later with constant use. This is the first electric kettle I've owned and it takes around 5 minutes or so to heat if you've filled it to the fill line. At the time of purchase, I think I only read one truly negative review in-which the reviewer showed the kettle boiling over and stated that it was unsafe. I've never had that happen in all the time we've used this kettle and if you're not over-filling it, it really shouldn't. Even when he water is at a full rolling boil, inside the kettle, it can't actually boil out of the kettle if you don't fill it above the very obvious 'fill line' marked on the inside of the pot...

Update: Ovente Customer Service was willing to extend the warranty but only after filling out a very long line of questions. I did not bother because I was disturbed that its product's malfunction that is a dangerous fire hazard was not taken seriously. Original review: Unfortunately, this kettle became a fire hazard after 4 months. The kettle would turn ON even if the button was in its OFF position. I’m extremely bummed because this was the perfect kettle! I suppose I could keep the kettle off the heating element when not boiling water, but it takes up precious counter space. PROS - I was worried how this kettle would look in person. The handle does not look as thick as it does in the picture and the stainless steel detail at top lip, which is part of the one-piece the stainless steel interior, gives it a sharp elegance. In fact, it would work with multiple looks like modern/contemporary, industrial, business, retro. cute/pop. It's 9" tall on the base and 8.5" tall off the base. - Because the lid opens when you hook 1-3 fingers to slide a 3 inch wide lever on top of the lid rather than pushing a small button that eventually fails, I know it will last until something else fails rather than the other way around like all past kettles. - The lid actually does open 90 degrees! - Opening to fill water and clean inside the kettle is 3.5" wide. This makes it easy to sill water from a faucet with a wide stream and easy to clean because I can fit my entire hand inside. - Hot water doesn't leak out from the lid when rushing to pour a lot of boiling water into a big pan. - Cord is heavy duty thick with 3 prong plug and can be wrapped under the base for storage. - Water only touches stainless steel. Inside is seamless stainless steel with no heating element showing. There is no plastic water level window and the stainless steel spout extends as once piece from the inner stainless steel kettle lining. -Water level markings on the inner stainless steel lining are embossed, not printed on. Readouts are large, easy to read and placed on the wall the handle is located. - Very lightweight and easy to carry a fully filled kettle. - Outer plastic layer gets warm but not hot. - Under $18! - There are no cons for me.

Very good kettle, great value for the price.

I am happy with it although there is a slight delay before the auto shut off kicks in. It boils for a bit before shutting off. The hole at the top is large enough to get my hand in for cleaning. That’s a good thing. The base is somewhat lightweight. Otherwise the kettle is solid and looks well built. Anyway the price is reasonable and works as advertised. I have been using it for a while now and there are no issues with it.

La hervidora tiene un diseño sencillo, elegante e intuitivo. Calienta 1.7 litros de agua en 7.5 minutos, y no se calienta por fuera, aún cuando el agua haya alcanzado el punto de ebullición. Sin duda la recomendaría.

This kettle is the double-sided wall. After water has boiled, it just feels warm when touching the outside body. It takes a bit longer to boil water ( not a big deal) comparing to the old kettle due to lower wattage 1100W. My kettle is white and it looks nice, good quality.
