Has held up well so far
Works exactly as intended if you know what I'm talking about but the shelf's good has held up well in our off-road scoring trailer for motorcycle events

Cheap, easy storage
Unlike other models, these are cheap and flimsy before they're mounted but once in the rack they are strong. The vent holes make it easy to mount or strap equipment down while still allowing air to flow around everything. A+.

Hit or miss due to potential shipping damage
So the racks themselves are actually great for the most part. 1 of the 2 was perfect out of the box, racked up without a problem. The second rack, however, broke through the box and proceeded to get bent up in shipping. While this is partially a "shipping issue" you couldn't expect this to not happen with the way it's packed. It really needs something to prevent the wings from breaking through the box.I was able to get it bent flat again with a hammer and a few swings on my anvil. I thought this was all that was needed, however, I was wrong. There are 2 layers of metal on the wings and the one that was bent also had misaligned holes between the two so it took a little extra effort with the drill gun to get the first bolts through, and I ended up stripping the first bolts so had to replace them.I'm not sure if it was a manufacturing issue or shipping with the misaligned plates but seems more manufacturing as they are seemed together.Wish it had not arrived damaged, would have saved me 30 minutes or so of trouble but in the end they did get mounted and work perfect. Though the one I bent back does have some slight chipping of the black coating. Not a big deal and won't even notice unless you are really looking.Overall this one's in the middle. It's at a good price point so I feel like i'd order again and cross my fingers there is no damage. They seem strong enough for regular applications they are meant for, I wouldn't put a large UPS or heavy server on it, but for something like that you'd want something more substantial and likely 2-3 U and/or connect to the back of the rack too.Because they will work for the long time with no additional "work" i'll give it a 4 star though if there were half stars I would have rated it 3.5 for poor package design but good product.

Good quality
Nice shelf. Vent holes are not too big. Good thickness of the sheet metal. Strong for a 1U shelf.

One good shelf; Second not so good.
This is a two-pack of rack shelves for my Riveco 4U desktop rack. I installed one shelf to hold a cable modem and an 8 port managed switch (not wide enough to rack mount). The first shelf I tried to install was a fail because the bolt holes on one side of the shelf were not drilled large enough to accommodate the provided bolts. To use that shelf in the future I will have to drill out the holes (annoying). Fortunately, the second shelf was properly drilled and I was able to install it easily. Entire rack and shelf is very sturdy. Happy with the result, but disappointed with quality control issues.
