Its fun to do and kids love it. Make sure kids are well supervised while using this . I enjoyed it myself just helping out / supervising.

The craft is easy, the instructions are clear, and it’s fun to mix and match the bug pieces. My only complaint is the clay is all stuck to the package (see photo) so we really had to scrape it to get it out which was a bit cumbersome. Overall, I would recommend the product.

I read a review before I bought this mentioning that the clay that came with the set was sticky and hard to use, so I didn’t even open it. We bought the model magic clay to use with these and it worked great! My two and four year old played for hours making different bugs. I did need to be there helping with removal from the molds, but that was expected.

This was cute but unless you have extra paint it's really a one time use. My 7yr old liked it but didn't want to do them all in one night. Did a few and put the clay in a plastic bag but the the paints were a bit difficult to put on the soft clay so more paint was used than normal also got frustrated because they were a bit hard to get out of the molds so they would squish easy.

The paint that came in kit was totally dried up and even after trying to rejuvenate just clumped. The clay that came with kit also was so dry unable to use, glad I ordered extra for gift so he could still make bugs on his birthday even if not painted.

My 9 year old and I both had fun making bugs with this kit! My only small issue was with getting the clay out of the packaging- it stuck to the bag it came in. Otherwise, the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Our bugs turned out really cool!
