what is the difference between these c2 and c4 lubes?? and whats c1 and c3?

C1 is chain cleaner. C2 is for road use. C3 is for off-roading. C4 for racing motorsport.

Is the c4 chain lube clear or that horrible white wax ?

Hi, it's clear/off clear, but it's not a wax type lube.

Can you use this on matte helmets?

Funny you should ask that! I've just recently bought a Shoei GT Air II in matt grey and the Motul helmet and visor clean product works on that without any problems. It has no visible effect on the paint finish, apart from cleaning off the dead flies etc!
