This is the second one of these covers that I have purchased. The first one lasted a couple of years and I was extremely happy with the fit on my Samsung stove, how it protected my easily-scratchable glass stove top, and how it hid the stove if I had not cleaned it real well after I used it. After a few years of use, however, it looked pretty unsightly with the coating wearing off a bit and leaving white splotches everywhere. So, I ordered a new one and received it quickly. I did have a small issue with this second one, but reached out to the company and they worked with me and made me happy. So, don't hesitate to purchase this stove protector from them!

For some reason, I thought this was gonna be a solid piece, but I’m even happier that it’s flexible you can roll it up. You can take it to the sink to wash it if you want to easy to take off when you wanna cook and I feel like it protects the cooktop from scratching if I sit something on it, etc. I really like having it on my stove

So far exactly what I'd hoped for. I gave it 4 stars, as I haven't used it on a warm stove yet. I purchased this to ensure that a) I wouldn't scratch my new glass top stove and b) my cats wouldn't burn their paws should they jump on the counter as my burner is cooling. I measured my stove side to side before purchase, which was 29" - so I bought the size nearest to the fit. It's an absolute PERFECT fit, which I'm thrilled about, I didn't want it wider than my stove, I wanted a n ice clean fit that looked like it was made for it. I was holding my breath until it arrived with regard to the length and yet again, a perfect fit from top to bottom with no hang over and nothing exposed. My stove is stainless steel with black door and a black burner, so the black color is a lovely blend. The material appears to be very well made, it's definitely spill and waterproof... I've already tested for that. After having to argue with a manufacturer to replace my new stove for months on end until they did, because of scratches, I am thrilled to have a lovely fitting, well made, visually pleasing cover. Most of all, I feel so much more confident that neither of my 2 cats will get burned while my stove is cooling, an issue I've been dealing with for nearly 9 years - always having to stand watch until my stove stop was 100% cooled. In reading the description and reviews, it clearly states that while fire and heat proof, to allow for some cooling before placing it on. I am 100% happy to, waiting for a bit of cooling vs. waiting until completely cooled, gives me peace of mind that my cats won't burn their paws, and less time standing and waiting for a stove top to fully cool. While not tested for heat/warmth yet, I can tell by the material that this is going to be all I'd hoped for and exactly as described. Truly happy and relieved with this cover. I highly recommend it.

I really like the product to protect the glass top stove which I am new to. However I have seven cats, two are jumpers. The material gets very hot and it would not protect my cats paws. Other than that it looks great and it protects the stove when I'm not using it. I was terrified at first to put it on the stove for fear of it burning or sticking to the stove and it did not. When I first got the stove I already made a mistake and wiped it before it was already cool with a stupid microfiber cloth and I still have not gotten those stains off the back burner so of course I was completely paranoid. I will wait three or four or five minutes before I put it on and I'm just not going to leave the kitchen. I don't want my cat to get hurt that terrifies me. It looks so nice though !

I have a small kitchen, not tiny, but small without a lot of counter space. This stove top cover has added a whole new area to my kitchen. I love to cook and bake and now I have a place to put all my ingredients out before I start. With a baking mat on it, it gives me a great area to roll and knead dough or place cookie sheets. When I come home from the grocery I can place all my bags in one spot. If I am only using one burner I can fold it in half and leave it on the stove. If I need to use more burners I just hang it over the oven door handle. It fits the top of my stove perfectly and blends in with my countertops, actually making my kitchen look bigger. I wish I had found this sooner.

Great product. I purchased for a glasstop stove because the red lights can be out and still be hot. I have a cat and while you can get burned through the cloth - it would not nearly be the burn from the glass. There is also the scratch factor, so I use it for protection. It is easy to clean - I got grey to go with my cabinets and it looks nice. It is well made and sturdy and easy to use. While it was about $30, it was well worth the peace of mind and nice look.

This cover is of reasable quality for the price. It fits our 30" LG cooktop adequately. I would never try to test if it is fireproof, but it does protect the cooktop surface when not in use. The cover was folder into eighths and shipped, which leaves permanent lines and prevents 100% contact with the surface. This is easily solved by rolling and shipping in as a scroll, but the manufacturer did not do that. In summary, OK for the price, but needlessly "ruined" by folding.

I purchased this as I wanted to keep the glass top of my new oven in good condition and if keep putting dishes on top of it it will be scratched.Its fire proof and perfect size to cover glass lid and as I have choice of colour even better.Its well made and excellent quality nice and thick easy to clean and very nice green matches by kitchen blinds.May be dearer than same but you get what you pay for and quick free delivery

Funktioniert für mich und die Katzen gut. Liegt die Abdeckung drauf dürfen sie drüber laufen, sonst nicht. Also lasse ich die Herdplatten abkühlen und lege dann den Schutz wieder auf, ich kann also nicht sagen, ob es isolieren würde, wenn ich es auf die heiße Platte packe. Ich möchte keine Katzenhaare oder Kratzer im Ceranfeld, deshalb die Abdeckung. Wenn ich koche, brate oder backe bin ich anwesend. Bin ich fertig, gehen wir in einen anderen Raum. Die Katzen springen also nie auf den heißen Herd. Davor hatten wir Glasplatten drauf. Die kann man nicht auf die heißen Herdplatten legen. Die nun verwendete Abdeckung ist deutlich leichter als ihr Glasvorgänger. Abwischbar sind beide, also weder Vorteil noch Nachteil. Eine Katze wetzt sich gern die Krallen an der Abdeckung. Was der Abdeckung aber keinen Schaden zufügt. Zumindest bis jetzt nicht. Etwas über 1 Jahr in Verwendung und ich bin zufrieden.

Tut was sie soll, schützt das Ceranfeld und sieht dabei auch noch wohnlich aus
