Excel: The Bible Excel Paperback – 11 July 2016

This book has so much theorical details about formula and function. Not much detail with example. Apart from few pages in section 3, I find this book very boring and difficult to complete. A big no for beginners.

Leider hat es wirklich nur "Manuskript" - Charakter. Ich hätte mir ehrlich mehr erwartet. Für Anfänger möglicherweise hilfreich, für mich zu wenig.

This is an interesting beginner book, the book is well written and easy to understand, and the area of formula and function, and macros i like most. The author follows the step by step guideline approach that's why these areas are much easier to understand. Well at first when I bought this book I was wondering what there was to know about excel that would prompt a guide to be written. But can I say I don't regret this download I use excel on a daily basis so I am familiar with shortcuts and formulas. However after reading this book I have learnt new shortcuts as well as new formulas and ways of utilizing the ones that I already know better. This was a great guide on excel!!!

I feel like such an Excel guru now. This guide covered everything I needed and wanted to know; I barely have to consult another manual or guidebook for any other questions I might have in the future. We use spreadsheets a lot in the office so this is definitely going to be my Bible for work. Enjoyed the free books on the Lean System and Fast Memorization Techniques too - the extra knowledge will be useful in terms of increasing my overall productivity!

It's OK. I have Excel 2016 but some of the commands he recommends don't seem to work for me. Either I didn't understand (even after review) or Excel has changed since the book was written. I am a visual learner and really needed some screen shots or diagrams or examples of some sort.
