Sweet book for the beginner.
A very basic book for someone wanting to learn some painting techniques. I bought two books, one for a friend and one for myself. We love to flea market shop and paint what we find. We were both hoping for some inspiration but were very disappointed... but again, if you are just starting out, it might be perfect. ...It is well laid out, easy to follow and the supply list could be very helpful.

Meh. I think I got one original idea I might use, maybe 3 things I'll try out (not new thoughts). Not particularly original. If you're new to the game, this could be a help to jump start your imagination, but for those of us "been doin'" you may find it perhaps underwhelming

great ideas using stuff I already have!
There were a lot of great ideas and easy to follow instructions. Great pictures of the processes as well as the finished product. She also invited some other decorators to share some projects. I haven't tackled a project yet but I have a few in mind. Love that she uses things I have or can get at a garage sale. Definitely worth the price!

Good projects- not quite easy peasy....
This looked good to me. But the projects are very specific and more than likely you will have to purchase things to carry them out. I got as an ebook.

not an inspired book. no new ideas
many of the 75 ideas are just repaint in another color, or put new hardware on. honestly not a very inspired book. one of the ideas that i liked was the marble countertop with contact paper. she says its $30 but when you go on the site she recommends you can only buy a roll at a time which costs $65. so she prices only what she uses but its not a $30 project, at the minimum its $65 and you might have left over for another surface. to me budget matters. pretty dissappointed.

Attainable beauty
fresh ideas. Simple, clear instructions. a great book for inspiration or for construction and design tips. delivers as promised in the title.

I'm enjoying this book
I like the format of the book and the ideas are wonderful. Very clear instructions and great photos. Very enjoyable.
