Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate & Cocoa Sweet Ground Powder, 3 lb Can

I was on the lookout for a new hot chocolate mix. I'm pretty picky and after trying cheap ones and then some expensive ones, I finally found this one made by Ghirardelli. I find that mixing 6 oz of hot milk with 2 Tbsp of this powder (done in my hot chocolate maker) makes a creamy, decadent drink. It is not overly sweet like a lot of mixes out there. So if you are a fan of the lil Swiss girls hot chocolate mix, I would skip this one. But if you like a rich, chocolatey hot chocolate do not hesitate to purchase some. You (hopefully) won't be disappointed.

This is a great value. I normally buy the smaller packet with a red front, but this is much more economical and the same flavor and quality. (Slightly different name, same brand) I love dark chocolate, and I love the taste and aroma of this hot chocolate. I make it with almond or oak milk. I use less than they suggest on the package. It mixes well and taste absolutely amazing!

Great price on a really nice chocolate. I use this in my. Café mocha every morning. And it’s great for hot chocolate made with milk, of course. The price is very good compared with buying it locally in a supermarket. It mixes easily in hot milk or hot coffee. In order to use it for cold chocolate milk you would want to dissolve it in a little hot water or milk first then chill it.

This chocolate powder makes the yummiest tasting treat especially when mixed with warm milk!

Worth the price. It makes fantastic brownies, not just cheery hot cocoa. But it’s the best hot cocoa I’ve had in a long time. The Dark Chocolate is even better but more Expensive.

I use this to make mochas at home. The dark chocolate flavor is good without being overly sweet. I only use about a teaspoon per drink, so one container lasts me quite a while, making it a good value. My only complaint is that it doesn’t always dissolve completely. Even after stirring, I usually end up with a little powder settled at the bottom of the cup. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s something to be aware of. Even so, I still.

Best hot cocoa I've come across! It's extra chocolaty, so be warned. I warm about 1 1/4 C of milk in a big mug and stir in the 3 Tablespoons recommended. It's not overly sweet and is delicious in coffee as well. Filled some nice jars to include in holiday gift bags and had to buy another for home use!

Love it it’s really hard to find a dark chocolate for hot chocolate. So it makes it so much better. It’s less sweet. It’s more rich

I buy this to add to smoothies and hot chocolate and it’s the most richly satisfying and delicious cocoa/chocolate powder you can get. It even mixes with milk better than cocoa. I‘d give it 50 stars if I could.

Very decadent hot chocolate. Use 3 tablespoons in a cup with water or milk and it gives a great flavour. I love it because it’s not super sweet!

This is a sweet chocolate great for hot chocolate ,Dutch for baking.
