Excellent canning kit! It comes with everything you're going to need to get started, except the jars. This one is wider instead of taller than some five seen. I think that will make lifting hot jars easier.

This worked out much better than the one I had bought a few years earlier the one I bought a few years earlier the lid didn't fit on it properly and nothing can properly at all it was a waste of money but with this one I only had to redo maybe three or four jars and since I was new to canning the way I understand it that's normal so this was a good pot everything worked out fine. And it seemed to seal properly. my pantry is full of canned goods. worth it and it comes with all kinds of goodies all kinds of goodies. I used pint jars I didn't really have anything bigger than that and I could fit almost a dozen jars in the pot so it's it's a decent size as well.

The pot is huge and strong! I used it the first day I got it and made some Blackberry preserves, jam, and jelly. The measuring cups and funnel is a nice bonus, along with all the tools for grabbing your hot jars. It even comes with labels to put on your mason jars. I am new to canning on my own and this starter kit made it easy. Cleaning was a breeze and Its a good price for all that you get and I will enjoy using it for years to come.
