SHORT! A Book of Very Short Stories

The kids in my class love these stories. They are short enough to do a whole class session on reading and comprehension skills in an hour.

My class loved these stories and we got some great writing based on them/inspired by them.

Great length for motivating my 7 yr old to read small print in a proper book. Haven't read them all but seems that many have ghost and scary themes, which is a shame since they are pre-bed time reading for us.

A brilliant book for older children (year 4 and up) Great way to show how to write a great story in less than 1 page.

I could recommend about 10 of the stories as having substance. The others are just bad (apologies to the author, who has undoubtedly worked at them). Random ending, nonsensical endings and some that really don't even end, they just ...stop. Bought this to accompany some teaching planning and wondered if I could do better just trawling and downloading. Buy at your own risk.

Interesting collection of short stories

I would recommend this product to anyone interested in reading. Great for use in the classroom. It came as described and in good time. Would purchase from this user again.

Die Geschichten sind zwar kurz, aber keine Kurzgeschichten. Da sind Witze und Märchen und Geschichten aller Art dabei, die nichts mit klassischen short stories zu tun haben. Für mich: Irreführender Titel.
