Review: Well made butter dish - This butter dish is a great value, well made and looks good on my counter; however, I am not sure how it is going to work out for me as you need to add water to it and replace the water on a monthly basis. You also need to put the butter in the lid and ensure it is packed in tightly with no air in it. I'll try it and see how it works out for us.

**Q: I live in a very warm climate yet my ac is on could that be  why my butter keeps falling out of bell?**
A: Either the butter isn't in the bell nice and tight or, yes, the room is too warm. I have that same problem, too, so i change my water every day, and stick the bell in the fridge on the warmest days. It never takes long to get it back to room temp, though.

**Q: Is it food grade porcelain?**
A: The butter dish is ceramic.

**Q: Is the color white or off white?**
A: Hi its almost white it has little brown flecks in it so it's almost off white.

**Q: Has anyone compared this to a more expensive butter keeper such as a butter bell? just wondering if i’m sacrificing flavor by spending less.**
A: The great thing about the Original Butter Bell crock brand is it will last forever! Much higher quality materials and durability. I've had mine for 20 years!!!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome Butter Crock

I LOVE this butter crock it’s so cute and holds 1 stick of butter with room to spare. I change the water every couple days, and my butter always stays fresh, I have never experienced any mold issues like some people have mentioned, which gets me thinking that they may be guilty of contaminating the butter, re-dipping the knife into the butter after using the butter on food products, leaving food particles in the butter. Also, some people mentioned issues of the butter falling out of the crock into the water, I have never had the butter fall out because you have to let the butter soften on the counter before packing it into the crock ensuring that it is packed without any air pockets. I love this crock and would highly recommend it to everybody.
