How does this work for domestic usage?

I have a 4 bedroom house, albeit with only 2 adult occupants. I have "closed" hot water system, i.e. no water tank in loft. The Eddy Electronic Water Descaler has far exceeded my expectations. I purchased it really to eliminate it as an option to a full water softening product at many times the cost. However, the performance has proved more than adequate at reducing/eliminating limescale in my shower unit.

If I install this product near to my stopcock do I have to clear a deposit from inside my water pipe at this point at some time in the future?

I'm pretty sure that you don't - at least I hope not! Ours is installed by the stopcock and I think that the scale is supposed to be broken down in the pipe and then just runs through. We have particularly hard water and I am not convinced that this is making much of a difference. We are going to have to invest in something a lot more heavy duty.

my stopcock is behind the washing machines. Does any one know if it will cause interference with the washing machine next to it please?

No it would not cause a problem, you would fit usual under the sink on the cold water in pipe .

how many bedroom house can it work on ?

It didn't have any effect at all in our four-bedroom house.
