Turned my Strat into a baritone
The reviews tell no lie; DDT-13’s are reliable, powerful, and convenient for hitting the lowest tunings you should want (on a guitar, anyway). I set my Hamer Stratocaster copy up with these, and for my first string change ever? Not bad. Had to unwind the ends of the largest strings and file my nut, but it’s a pretty efficient conversion at a 25.5” scale length. For the sound: they are massive. Cannons. Great volume unplugged, and amazingly rich tone when plugged in. You can go to A standard without any major issues, but B standard is my preference; you could even go up to C, D, or E, but make sure you’ve got strong hands and a strong guitar. And, on that topic: once these are broken in, they feel lovely. Not really any harder to play, and actually somewhat easier, for me, due to the thickness + slickness of the strings. I miss fewer notes.

Great little set of strings
I play in Drop C, D standard, and C standard on an Epiphone Les Paul and these strings are perfect for me. I used other strings for many years, but I kept having to adjust my truss rod and bridge to compensate for the lack of tension. This set is excellent and provides great intonation in my tuning range. I tried another brand of strings with this gauge and they sounded ridiculously twangy. I've also had a lot of trouble with locking in the tuning of some other brands and, I have to say, these lock in better than any other brand I've tried. They lock in so well its almost like I have a Floyd Rose -- I can go without playing for a long time in both humid and dry conditions and these are never more than a tiny bit off when I pick up the axe again. When I take care to properly clean my strings and apply string glide after I play, they also last a lot longer than some other brands I've bought. Because of my excellent experience with DR strings, these are my go-to brand and I won't be playing anything else.

Interesting strings
I put these on a Duo Sonic of all things. We tune down at least a half step in standard then drop from there for open tunings. Not really heavy stuff, but with a short scale the tuning stability is an issue. I’ve always used heavy strings regardless of the guitar, but these are a cut above. Very stable, nice rounded tone. Had to file the nut a bit but that’s ok. Really like them and a great price. I imagine on a more “appropriate” guitar these would be a no brainer, but you can take it from me that they work for pretty much any style of music, and on a jangly guitar.

My go-to strings
I record a lot of drop tuned metal. These always performed the best. I've never broken a string once!! They sound thick and punchy and deliver a nice full sound overall!

Favorite strings on the market
These are my favorite strings because they stay in tune the longest and have less wear when I do wear them down so I can play with them for longer

Good but not great. G stretch, why do you haunt us so?
Good string for severe drop tuning Drop B and Drop A with very little slacking problems. As with many strings the flaw is in that G. Even at 22 it just doesn't want to stay tuned for longer than a day. Also at 22 I am a bit surprised it was not a wound string. Good strings not great, very playable and good deep tones.

Specifically designed and crafted for drop tunings
You know what it is, you know the history of these strings and the amazing players who use them, surprisingly the order got her 2 days early and has been working well with my 1993 Jackson King V.. Light weight and holds a tune is wound right.. Meant for lower tunes, anything with high tension will be risking breakage

For those who like the Chug!
These are by far the best strings ive ever played. Stays in tune even when you are crushing those breakdowns! The tone is absolutely phenomenal. In my opinion, way better than Ernie Balls or other big name brand companies!
