I personally found the cap to be one of the biggest you can buy,fits most people comfatably.

Can you make more holes in it, as I would like more coverage?

I got my cap this week and made the holes using a small Awl I got from Wilko that was under £2- only took me 30 mins to do the whole cap. I started at the top and worked round each line of holes, so if you wanted even more holes I reckon it would be easy using an Awl instead of anything else as it has a sharp point and I never even ripped the cap doing mine.

Is this the actual packaging shown in the image? As I want this version of the cap not the older as they are slightly different

Is this cap latex free?

I believe it is but beware , very poor quality. I sent mine back for a refund after it split in two places on the very first use. Brought a different brand and have used that many times with no problems.
