It has quickly become a staple in my daily routine because it completely nails the texture and finish. Texture & Daily Wear: *The Finish: It is incredibly lightweight, non-greasy, and non-sticky. *The "White Cast" Clarification: The product description states it leaves no white cast. In reality, it actually gives a gentle, skin-brightening effect that beautifully evens out my dull complexion. I happily wear it completely on its own for grocery runs or casual errands. *Under Makeup: It sits beautifully under my makeup, pairing perfectly with both tinted moisturizers and heavier foundations without piling. The Eye Sting & My Workaround: Like most chemical sunscreens, this will sting your eyes if you apply it directly to your eyelids. To get around this, I simply use a dedicated mineral sunscreen on my eyelids and use this formula everywhere else. Protection & Performance: *Sun Protection: Independent testing shows this blocks about 98% of UVA and 97% of UVB radiation, and I genuinely feel it does its job. *Water Resistance: It claims 80 minutes of water resistance, and it holds up well against sweat. *Scent: It contains fragrance, but it is faint. If you consciously sniff the bottle, it just smells like a subtle, clean scent. How it compares to the SPF 30 version: If you are deciding between this one and the SPF 30 version from the same line, here are a few key differences I noticed: *The Cast: The SPF 30 version has a true zero-white cast with no brightening effect. If you don't want any skin-toning or brightening at all, get the SPF 30. *Water Resistance: While both state 80 minutes of water resistance, I feel the SPF 30 version gets rinsed or sweated off much more easily than this one. *Scent: The SPF 30 version has a more noticeable flowery scent that is still not too strong.

I find this to be an excellent skin conditioner and protector. It is not greasy at all and protects my skin from the suns rays. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

I must admit that - as an African American - I was very intimidated when searching for a sunscreen. I'd never worn sunscreen before and had never given it any thought. The only reason I began researching sunscreens is because I began using an AHA product that causes photosensitivity, which made the use of sunscreen essential. I've previously been ignorant to the fact that though the melanin in my skin provides some protection from the sun, it's not nearly enough to negate the need for sunscreen. Thankfully, I've come to my senses. As I was researching, I'd read a lot about many sunscreens appearing white on the surface of the skin. Sunscreens containing zinc oxide and titanium oxide are said to be the most visible on African American/ethnic skin tones, so I avoided those. Unfortunately, however, those seemed to be among the most highly recommended sunscreens. After days of research, I was relieved when I came across Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch because it did not contain the aforementioned ingredients, seemed to contain the protection I needed, and was reasonably-priced. This sunscreen works just as I'd hoped. Firstly, I've noticed no adverse effects from being out in the sun while using my AHA product, which seems to indicate that this sunscreen is doing its job. Secondly, I found "Dry-Touch" to be a very apt phrase to use to describe this sunscreen, as it certainly cannot be felt on the surface of the skin. Once it goes on, it's gone. This goes for its appearance on the surface of the skin, as well. It blends into the skin very easily (very little rubbing required) and cannot be seen. Given that I have light-medium brown skin, it would be immediately apparent if this was a product that did not blend into the skin properly. This sunscreen genuinely looks and feels as if I've put nothing on besides my normal skin care products, which was very important to me. The smell is also mild (it actually smells pretty good to me) and seems to dissipate after application. Besides being worried about how the sunscreen would look and feel on my skin, I was also concerned about whether this product would cause breakouts. I'm in my mid 20s and still prone to pimples here and there. I'm very careful about what I use on my skin and - besides my AHA - only use natural products that contain ingredients that I know are beneficial to my skin and won't cause breakouts. Obviously, with sunscreen, I couldn't have that same control and had to just get over the fact that it would contain a ton of chemicals that are unfamiliar to me. Despite my apprehension, I haven't experienced a single breakout - or any irritation - since starting this product. Though I have nothing to compare this sunscreen to, I can say that I feel very fortunate to have found such a great sunscreen on my first try and will definitely be back for more when my first tube runs out.

My wife and I have been users of NIVEA Super Water Gel for a number of years now. We prefer the Japanese version BUT it has become hard to find and quite costly. This Ultra Sheer Dry Touch version seemed like a very similar option and it is. Nothing can match the way the water gel disappears when applied. The Ultra Sheer goes on just fine, does not feel greasy, BUT it does have a faint white cast to it. Even a few hours later you will notice your skin has a flat sheen to it. For the 50% savings in price I find it an excellent option. In stock online and just about every department store which is a huge plus. If you want a reasonably priced, non greasy lotion this is an excellent choice. I have seen it in 35, 55, and even 70 SPF so there is an option for everyone.

This sunscreen is perfect for daily use. It has a very lightweight texture and absorbs almost instantly without leaving any greasy or sticky feeling on the skin. I love that it doesn’t clog pores and works well under makeup. It provides great sun protection while keeping the skin feeling clean and comfortable throughout the day. Definitely a reliable option if you’re looking for an effective, non-greasy sunscreen.

This is the best sunscreen for my face I have ever used. I’m ghost white and I don’t want my face to burn if I’m outside being active or just going to the store. I wore it to the pool for the first time to test it in direct 12pm sunlight, one application 2 hours with no reapplication and I didn’t burn at all. In fact my skin feels better. I haven’t tried putting makeup on under it yet but curious to see if it looks good. From what I tested, it was not oily at all and massages into the skin nicely. Overjoyed to find a facial sunscreen I like!

Me encantó, la textura es lo mejor, no se siente pesada aunque es en crema, se absorbe muy rápido y deja acabado semimate, parece que no traes nada puesto, no se siente grasoso ni pegajoso. Deja una capa blanca muy finita, a penas perceptible (depende del tono de piel), pero no quedas como fantasma jaja y si usas algo de maquillaje, no se ve para nada. La verdad para mi está bien, la protección es buena y el precio me parece increíble.

This is the BEST sunscreen I've ever used. No doubt about it. It is a thick white formula and you may think that its going to take a while to blend, but it glides on easily and the skin absorbs it super fast. The price is so affordable and a little goes a long way. I bought the miniature version first and loved the formula so much that immediately bought the full size pack. It is non sticky and keeps my skin fresh. I first apply Bio Oil to moisturize my skin and then apply the sunblock. That is a perfect combination. Would highly recommend it to anybody looking for a good sunblock with high SPF and something non oily which wont make you break out. I have dry skin except my t-zone area and dont know if this sunblock would work without moisturizing your skin first since i use bio oil regularly before applying anything on my skin. But if you are somebody looking for a bit of coverage of blemishes, then this isnt the sunblock for you.

Reliable and lightweight. perfect for everyday use This is hands-down one of the best sunscreens I’ve used. It goes on super smoothly, absorbs fast, and doesn’t leave that annoying greasy feeling or white cast. I wear it under makeup almost every day and it doesn’t pill or feel heavy at all. I love that it’s SPF 50, so I feel fully protected, especially during the summer. It’s also water-resistant, which makes it great for the beach or sweaty days. I have sensitive skin, and this didn’t irritate me at all, no breakouts, no redness. The texture is lightweight, almost like a moisturizer, and there’s no strong smell. Definitely a go-to if you want serious sun protection without the sticky mess. Highly recommend!
