It was exactly what I needed! I have another bonavita crib which I turned into a full size bed. But with those, I had to screw in the rails. These were easy to just hook up to the headboard and foot board! Perfect!

Was a little frustrating not getting it to attach correctly with the included brackets on a Babi Italia Eastside crib. Swapped out the brackets with the alternate ones (included) and it fit OK. Also a little surprising that it doesn't come with locking bolts for added safety but that's equally the fault of the crib for not accommodating this; so far so good. Considered drilling into the metal plate and through the headboard + baseboard to secure the latch but haven't yet. The rails are weighted enough once the mattress is on that it shouldn't go anywhere. The quality of the wood and rails are super solid, though the fitting is extremely tight on the ends - to the point where they could be sanded down a bit. It is for this reason that I haven't drilled the rails in yet - they're not budging. Happy with the quality and fortunately our daughter is not using her new bed as a trampoline. Best solution available.
