I have upgraded the stars to 4 stars, because the thing I liked the lease was that it was not airtight and that has been corrected. That being said, it is a lovely pitcher and once they revise the instructions this could be a great purchase.(Original Review)I will most likely return this pitcher.1) It is NOT airtight, as you can see in the picture, the stopper is not deep enough to block the pour spout. Therefore, nothing to really keep the coffee fresh.2) The shape of the pitcher provides stability, but when you put the recommended amount of water in (see point 3) it fills the base and does not keep but about a 1/4 of the grounds in the water. If I put more water in, I am not sure the coffee:water ratio would be right.3) Instructions, which are not very clear due to translation issues, ask to fill to 1000ml level, yet the only markings are in ounces.Coffee tasted okay. But the pitcher is not airtight, either with the filter attached or not. Following the instructions results in most of the filter not being in the water.

The pitcher doesn’t seal to keep the coffee fresh and you have to keep the filter in in order to have the lid on. Wouldn’t recommend this for your cold brew.

This is my 2nd one. Love it! Glass and steel. I put about 6 ounces of coarse ground coffee in the silver cylinder. Fill the flask with filtered water and let it sit on the counter for 24-48 hours. I pour it into a different flask for serving which I store in the frig. This way I can start my next batch of coffee while I'm finishing the last batch. Best cold brew ever! It brings out the chocolate notes in many coffee brands. Easy to clean. This is such an easy system. I had the Filtron Cold Brew System before. It was fine, but I didn't like that it was plastic and I didn't like that you needed to have a filter pad. Buying and maintaining the filter pad was not worth it, for me.

I love coffee and this is such an easy and fun and yummy way to make cute cold brew I used to make it in a mason jar but now that I have this it’s so much better

Love! Love! Love this product!! This steeper makes the best cold brew coffee ever! I use it for loose leave tea as well! If you want to save money from buying cold brew coffee look no further! The fine mesh leaves no grounds or particles of beans or tea leaves in your drink. I've looked around at other steepers, even bought some from teavana, world market, and Argo and they all left behind sediment and grounds. This steeper is truly the best!

I love iced coffee, and now I always have some in my fridge!Follow the instructions & your good to go. This product is so easy to use and brews GREAT coffee. Absolutely love it!

Was washing it the first month i owned it the glass shattered while the water was running over it. No the glass was not cold nor was the water temperature used to clean it hot. It was warm water. I would not recommend.
