Fast, and Windows 11 compatible
I have a lovely desktop PC from 2018, and the PCI card stopped functioning when I changed to 'fibre-to-the-premises' a few months ago. I tried rebooting drivers etc but no success, I left the ethernet cable from the BT extender plugged in (but this left it trailing over the floor). The PC has an Asus motherboard and so I had some difficulty finding a new WIFI card to replace the old Asus basic model form other manufacturers, so I opted for this model. I had needed to enable TPM 2.0 on the pc so that it could upgrade to Windows 11, and this also played an important role in deciding whether to get it. It all works brilliantly. It uses an on-board usb power supply (I think it's for Bluetooth) and I only have 2 so I unplugged my SD card reader as I have en external one. It came with CD software and it installed all of it first time. I instantly saw a threefold increase in wifi speed using an online speed-tester and it meets the BT claim for my full fibre service. My PC then updated to Windows 11 and the PCI card works perfectly. Having the aerials moveable with the magnetic base means I can get the best speed from the broadband router. Job done.

Idiot proof and easy to install
My elderly PC couldn't cope with new fibre connection. Despite being not very happy opening a PC and fiddling with it, this was simplicity itself to install and get running. Only tip - and I'm addressing this to low-PC-literacy idiots like me - instructions suggest installing it then downloading and installing the driver. I removed some uncertainty by downloading the driver *then* installing the card, as initially it was not connecting to the internet.

Great product, lousy drivers.
It's a WiFi card... There's little to be said about that except that it's also meant to have Bluetooth and the drivers they provided (not even default Windows drivers, the official drivers) for Bluetooth don't work on my Windows 11 PC. Bit of a let-down.

Working on Linux fedora and AMD
ASUS BE6500. Just arrived and easily fitted to an Asus m/board with AMD Ryzen CPU running fedora 43. No configuration changes or driver updates reqd. Working fine on 5Ghz at 1200mbps (satellite router connection). Not tested 6Ghz to main wifi7 router as yet.

Really impressed
Recently I moved in into new place, where Ethernet connection wasn't available. I bought to me desktop TP Link AC1200 thinking it's going to be enough. Sadly, the distance from router was too far for good connection. I bought BT wi-fi extender which sort of helped, but the connection wasn't stable for most of times. Not a big deal for normal surfing, but if you like online games, you know what im talking about. Your ping is just all over the place. It was okay at best, but mostly bellow average. So I decided to try something else and got this Asus AX 58BT. And oh boy, what a difference. I download new drivers before installation just to make sure, I have the newest software, as for most ot the times, the CDs are well outdated. Assuming you actually have CD drive lol. Anyway, after installation, which was really easy (make sure you have open slot for PCIe and USB on your motherboard) and installing drivers, both for wifi and bluetooth my PC connected itself to the network. And funny thing is, it didn't even connected to the extender, but straight to router, which I was thinking is going to be too far. Got full range without tweaking anything. Couldn't be more happier. Solid product!!!

Does what it needs to
Click into motherboard pci slot, screw to back, plug into motherboard, download the driver off ASUs website and away you go. Can’t complain, does what it says and I get decent speeds.
