This was put up in a utility room where good light is a priority. The unit is designed to fit in a tile space in a suspended ceiling commonly found in industrial, business or offices. However, frames are available to mount them on standard ceilings and are easily fitted. Having worked as an electrician and kitchen fitter I make my own. This is fairly easy using mdf and some spare paint. Just leave room for the transformer.Once the frame is fitted - screwed to the plasterboard - the units can be replaced as needed. The transformer is wired into the existing feed and the unit is simply plugged into the transformer. The whole unit is replaced on failure, hopefully after many thousands of hours. A very simple five minute job. The transformer stays in place (unless bizzarely it has also failed.)The light is cool white 6500k. It is bright and correct for a working space. If you want pretty 'mood' lighting this isn't for you, but 3000k warm white would be. In my experience many choose the wrong 'type' of light without a simple 'google' to get some info/pictures.Its fitted into a 3.5m x 3.5m room and casts no shadows. The whole area is lit up superbly. As stated the light is instantaneous. You might notice that some previously shady areas need some redecoration!Good price and a good solution - remember the old gu10 halogens; used 50w, got really hot, failed early and still cost a few quid? Most fittings used 3 or 4.In comparison this wins all round, lasting years longer and using a quarter of the electricity. - That's without mentioning the light quality.Highly recommended.

Awesome lights. Very good quality. Ordered 10 pieces, all work, very easy to fit. I have replaced fluorescent box lights in suspended ceiling. The old ones were very awkward to remove, had to bend them, these LED panels went in super easy. In hindsight I should have bought the 36W panels, as the 48Ws are way too bright for what I need them for, but love them anyway.They come with for hooks on the panels if you want to hang them.

Thus does what it was intended for, however I wanted it for photographic lighting. I does the job but is quite heavy so requires some kind of support for my purposes. No fault of the product.

Great light for the money, easily installed in my small photo studio and takes up very little room, nice even light in all directions, great communication with the seller, who provided tracking info when the parcel was missing, will definitely buy another

delivery came earlier than expected, fitted the ceiling light today, a lot better then what I have, light is very bright. overall very pleased.

Look to be well made, very bright even light. They have a 5mm allowance and so measure 595mm dead on both dimensions.
