I’ve been using this for a while, and I have three cats and they LOVE this fountain. We’ve had this fountain out and running for over a month now with no issues, works great, and looks great as well.

**update**I contacted the vendor and they offered me a full refund or replacement, and also suggested I clean the motor. First of all I don’t realize it could come completely apart and it was easy. We did exactly what they said and it works!!I am back to happy and loving it again.I loved this water bowel for my dog as it was really easy to clean. It has two separate filters which kept the water fresh and clean. Was very quite you don’t know it is on because of it. I bought mine in April and it quit working in August so it lasted 4 months. It just stopped working. I have not reached out to the company yet but plan to shortly. Will update with what happened. Giving 3 stars because it that. It would have been 5 stars if it had lasted at least a year.

My cats and I all love this fountain! One cat took to it immediately; the other, as expected, decided it was safe to use the next day. It is attractive, silent, and easy to use. It isn’t perfect because there is no “low” warning light and no way to check the water level without taking the top off.

Let me start off by saying I've owned several Tomxcute fountains over the years, including other models. I recently chucked our older one because it had two pieces that were difficult or not possible to clean effectively--the little gooseneck spout and the plastic piece that the spout was placed into that mounted to the lid. After only a couple of weeks, the plastic part was yellowing (despite me obsessively deep cleaning the fountain every six days) and the spigot was bent at such a sharp angle that you couldn't get a bottle brush all the way though.When I saw this new model with the ball on top and improved lid mounting hardware, I jumped on it immediately. Gone is the nasty little plastic piece with awkward deep cavities, which has been replaced by a much better piece that's a breeze to clean.My issue, however, is that I finally just noticed after a few months that the ball on top RETAINS WATER inside of it. There is NO way to take it apart or clean it, and I could only imagine how nasty it is in there, or how soap residue could end up in the fountain, despite thoroughly washing the sphere.Other than the sphere, this is a wonderful fountain, but since my cats' health is my first priority, this is completely unacceptable. Maybe they'll get the next iteration right, but I'm going to have to disappoint my cats and toss the sphere, which will make it harder for them to drink (much less as a comfortable angle).

This is my 2nd cat fountain; this one is quieter and my 2nd cat likes it better too.Both cats can sit, not bend over to drink. Nice for large cats.

The product itself is super sleek and very silent as long as there is adequate amount of water inside the bowl. Filters are available for purchase on the sellers store so it makes it super easy to know what to get. It works great and my kitty loves the moving water.The ball part did fill with water after a few months of use. All the welds seem to be intact so im not sure how water is getting inside but I emailed the seller (email is on the paper that comes with the product- be sure to keep it if any issues do occur) and they are surprisingly great with getting back to you which i didnt think would be the case but the seller said they will ship out a replacement to me. So all in all I recommend. Its very easy to clean too. Highly recommend!

First issue is the way the pump intake is, it will only run as long as the bowl is at least half full. Once the water gets below about half it goes below the intake and it stops pumping. I got it for the high water capacity, but with this issue the real capacity is only about half of advertised. The second issue is the unit runs all the time. It is very quiet but I see no reason to run 24-7. It would be much better if it had a motion detection or something and only comes on when the pet wants a drink.

The fountain is cute, however, not very comfortable for use. The ball in the middle makes my cat's chick wet every time. I would have better choose a model without this ball even though it looks prettier.

The ad claims this fountain holds 4.0L, this is not accurate. It holds 2.0L. I have to fill it up every other day. The previous one I had held 6 L so this is not what I expected and definitely not worth the money when compared to the other fountains holding 2.0 L

Washed the fountain, went to put it together and the stainless steel globe only goes down less then a quarter inch. Instead of a zen, calming water fountain, it looks like I shoved a medical instrument in the middle of the fountain. The sphere looks flush in the photos, but it doesn't. Thought about returning it as soon as I saw the box, but thought I would give it a shot. Wish I hadn't. Without the ball it is no where near "silent". Don't waste your money.
