A big strong rack
I bought this to fit on my mpv for additional carrying capacity. It is very well made and rigid when assembled. Comes with a kit to fit it on to roof bars. Overall I am pleased with it.

Very impressive
Struggling for space with going away so decided on this and very pleased very sturdy easy to install! Plus even the larger size fits my very small car perfect bought aswell to sit a cargo bag inside so it’s flat to strap down. Definitely recommend buying

Overall good, but has a few issues.
Overall, this rack is good. It's sturdy, it fits perfectly, and it seems well made. I bought the large one for my SUV, and it looks really good. I haven't actually put anything in it yet, so I can't comment on load-bearing, but I'm sure it will be fine. I recommend having a 2nd person to help you assemble it. It is a bit fiddly to put together, especially the middle section (see below) and those d*mn rubber sheaths that you have to pull over to cover the screw heads. I didn't follow the instructions of greasing the inside of the tubes, because I didn't have any. Big mistake. Get some grease before dealing with those tubes. If you have bought the large size, I definitley recommend having a helper to get it on top of the car. But I'm a female who isn't very strong, so if you're a really strong man, you can probably do it alone. But if you have a sun roof, I would get a helper, so you don't drop it and break your sun roof. Although, I suppose the rails would prevent that. I don't know. I just know from life experience that crazy things happen, and it's best to err on the side of caution. I have two complaints. First, the middle section consists of two pieces. I wasn't expecting this. When I watched the assembly instruction video on the Maxxhaul YT channel, the middle section was one piece. In the photo on the listing here, there is a rectangular solid piece in the middle of the assembled rack. I didn't realise that that is a connector for the seam of the two middle sections. I assumed it was just some sort of support piece. And the plates are strong, that's true. But the tubes in the middle section underneath that plate don't even slot together, they just sit end-to-end. Well, mine didn't even reach all the way to butt up against each other. There is a gap, which is definitely going to be a port for letting in water and leading to rust. I was VERY annoyed about this. I suggest you tape that or somehow create a seal to close that gap. Second complaint is that the rubber washers are quite flimsy. When you tighten the screws, they squish out from under the screw heads. I suggest buying better quality washers before assembling. Oh, another annoying thing is that the instructions recommend painting it with rust-resistant paint before putting it together. Really?? They couldn't even give it a good coat of paint, for this price? If I had known about the paint, grease, and washers ahead of time, I would have been prepared. But I had driven to a friend's house to help me with this thing, and I just had to go ahead and put it together because it was a window of opportunity. And it was a bit of a faff getting the rails on, assembling this, getting it lined up, tightening everything down, etc. It's doable, but it is work and takes some time. The idea of tearing it all down to seal the gap in the middle section and paint the rack fills me with dread. Especially since I don't have indoor space such as a garage, to paint it in and let it dry. I'm quite annoyed that companies don't give you the whole picture before making a purchase. I think it's overpriced, considering the issues, but, overall, this seems like a good quality item. It will be very useful for camping and road trips. And it looks good.

Great bit of kit
Great piece of kit. It’s been great for summer holidays and staycations. Use this with a cargo bag for longer trips or just throw camp chairs etc on top for dry day trips!

It’s a Beast!
Done two camping trips and a 300 mile drive up to 🏴. This thing is a beast! Also heavy as its steel. So may need an extra pair of hands attaching to your vehicle. Less bulk than a roof box, and can store it more easily. Also you and use it for more awkward shaped loads than a roof box. Keeping stored dry and protect the joints to avoid corrosion.

Does the job though the instructions could be better
I got this to store a 30kg tent to roofbars, didn't want to pay a lot, it does the job but a little noisey when on the motorway. Was easy to fit and will be able to take it apart again for storage in the winter, instructions weren't great to be honest I put the rubber bits on wrong at the start and had to undo a few bits then put it back together again.

Top marks!
After being let down by a different seller on a different platform of a roof box purchase - I needed to think fast, this is where this little marvel came and saved the day! Not only is it sturdy, made of GREAT materials but the purchasing / delivery was second to none! I’d 1000% recommend - product has exceeded all expectations! 10 out of 10! :)

Fades and rust marks appear after a couple of months
Good strong roof cage, only thing that lets it down if you leave it on top for a couple of months like I did. The sun fades the paint really quickly and once water gets to it rust starts to appear. To solve it rubbed it down resprayed it and put a proper clear coat over it is now alot better

Bought this summer for our VW Atlas Cross Sport and it fits great and is very well made. We were able to put a carry case and several camp chairs in it and had no issues. You do get a bit of road noise from it, but it didn't bother us. We put a piece of plywood between our carry case and the basket so that the bolts wouldn't damage our bag. It worked great.

Before purchasing I read a lot of comments and there were quite a few complaining about the seal of the joints and the formation of rust. Well this must be an improved model because all bar joints were sealed to perfection. There's no way water will enter into the interior of the structure as you can see from one of the closeup photos. Ease of mounting and also instructional video on YouTube made it very easy to install. I quickly tested on the autobahn and up to 120km there was no evident noise, over this speed it started to whistle. However it was empty. In any case once loaded I don't think anyone is going to go faster. As for the product Highly Recommended. The double center plates to join the middle piece are very strong. Arrived as stated and packed in strong cardboard box with instructions in English.. 👍

Comodo, facile da montare e abbastanza robusto. Per motivi aerodinamici l'auto consuma visibilmente di più e fa molto più rumore.
