Platinum Replacement Bucket

This is much easier to clean that the original container. I've got to scrape and pry to clean the original, this one just slides off with no stickiness or mess.

Only had foodrecycler for less then a year and had to replace bucket already. I would think as expensive as the product is i would not have to replace a bucket already. The product does a great job with making a hummus product. It is not compost, one should know. I love this product just disappointed i had to replace the bucket already for $50. Hope this reciew helps.

Had to replace the whole bucket because I can't order just the moving part which broke. It is NOT sufficently robust -- the shaft should be 1/4 inch. It is no thicker than #9 wire. I doubt that Food Cycler will even read this, but they could easily make a much, much better product.

Excellent replacement for the original bucket, that generated over 50 pounds of completed mulch over the past four years.

The engineering and metal quality for the drive connection inside the bucket mechanism are weak. The toughest thing we ever put in the thing is a sliced up broccoli stem. I performed a temporary repair on the old one and the method of engagement of the drive shaft to the grinding arm is inadequate and could have much more strength.

Broke in less than one year. $50 is too much for replacement of a low quality product.Update: Buying replacement bucket again 7 months before first replacement.

This is a third bucket I got to the Cycler. I love the entire unit, but the bucket breaks and you have to replace entire bucket instead of just the moving part.

I was disappointed when my 1st bucket only lasted 2 1/2 months. One of the inside handles completely broke off. For the high cost,this should last longer. I purchased the food cycler 6-13-2018. Replacement bucket 9-4-2018.
