**Update to my review (Now 6/17/2026)** I have also ordered the "Clear" shade of this lip balm, and I love how nice it looks on my lips. It adds a nice gloss, shine, and supple look to my lips. I love that a little bit goes a long way, and this adds a moisturizing feel to my lips. The smell of the Clear lip balm is also the same as the one I ordered before. This smells like Vanilla and Brown Sugar, which is very nice. However, it doesn't have the same taste as the scent, unfortunately. I do notice a bit of a sunscreen taste, if some of the gloss gets in my mouth. I wish this had the Vanilla and Brown Sugar flavor. Overall, I'm happy with the lip gloss, and I like that the Clear shade can be used alone, or over/with some of my other lip products. This is a nice quality lip balm that also adds a glossy look to my lips. I'm happy with both tubes that I've ordered, and would consider ordering again. Very nice! ✨️ 💕💕💕💕 I was not that familiar with this brand when I ordered this lip gloss, but I wanted a gloss with SPF, so I bought this Cay Skin Isle Lip Balm. I got the shade of "Nude Ting", which is a pretty light pink shade. I wasn't sure how it would look on my lips, as in the listing photo it looks more coral in shade (to me, anyway). However, this is a pretty, light pink shade with a lovely gloss to it. This gloss absorbs well onto my lips, and I definitely noticed a vanilla, brown sugar type of scent when applying. I like the smell of the lip balm, but the taste of it is like if you got sunscreen in your mouth (which, obviously, I'm not fond of). I wish the scent matched the flavor better. This lip balm is definitely moisturizing to my lips, and it leaves them feeling hydrated for a while. I do feel like this balm is a bit sticky, in my personal experience. It starts off feeling moisturizing, but has a slight stickiness to it. It's not super bothersome to me, but I did think I should mention it. Overall, I think this is a nice quality lip balm; it's moisturizing, has a glossy tint, and gas SPF 30. I like that a little bit goes a long way, and it looks flattering on my lips. I liked this shade quite a bit, and carry it with me in my purse or pocket. I am ordering another shade, as I do like to have SPF lipgloss. I'd recommend this, and I think it's a nice quality product overall.

I’ve been a fan of this brand for a while. Their sunscreen is absolutely amazing. These lip balms are no exception! I usually hate any lip color with SPF because they Wash me out, dry my lips, and wear off oddly, even the clear ones. I took a chance on the Cay because I love their sunscreen so much. I saw a few reviews before purchasing saying that people had issues with the applicator on the older packaging. I was glad that I received the upgraded balms. Each color, from lightest to darkest, worked on me. They feel just as buttery and smooth as balms such as summer Fridays, glossier, or laneige. They are incredibly moisturizing, easy to reapply, smell like vanilla, have zero white cast, and last a bit longer on the lips than the balms I mentioned above. I’m guessing that the addition of SPF gives them more grip. They fade away evenly, no weird splotches of dry crusty lips at all, and the formula is not sticky; there’s a little bit of a cushiony feeling. I wear them everyday with and without liner. I purchased a few for my family and got myself a clear one as well. I will 100% repurchase these. So happy to find sun protection for the sensitive skin on my lips that is actually a pleasure to wear.

This lip balm looks good, feels great. Keeps my lips moisturized all day . This lip balm l have used to accent my lips with other lipstick colors. The shine is amazing. I would give 5 stars but l criticize the smaller size with these tubes that hold small amount of the product so it's really a tease. However very nice product.

This stuff is wonderful. If you're looking for adequate coverage with some staying power and a light color - this is for you.

Absolutely love this lip gloss. I have another spf lip gloss that taste horrible. But this one doesn’t have the nasty taste and it is not sticky. Keeps lips soft even after shine goes. I will definitely be getting them all.

I wanna agree with every other positive review and I do except this has a bunch of chemical spf filters in it and as soon as I put it on my lips started to burn a little. I can’t wear chemical spf on my face, it causes me chemical burns so I am not sure I’ll be putting it on again. I’m bummed, I think a lip spf with color would be great but unfortunately chemical spf just isn’t an option for me. Really nothing wrong with the product, it’s soft and wears really well, I’m just unlucky lol

Love this!! Soothes my chapped lips and protects them in the sun. I will never go back to chapstick. It comes clear or in really pretty different lipstick colors. Highly recommended!!!
