Perfect fit (much older Wirlpool)!
Right on target for my repair of our spare washer (much older Wirlpool). The part fit well and can accommodate a couple of different mounting options easily. I was honestly surprised it worked as well as it did, and it salvaged an old washer's functionality for a bit longer. Five stars for fit, cost, and ease of installation.

Worked Perfectly on a Maytag LA216
Perfect transaction, delivery, and a quality product. Fit into a Maytag LA216 perfectly. I did have a slight issue getting the washing machine's water intake hose connected to this inlet valve, but that was the fault of the internal hose and clamp, along with limited room I had to work with, and not the quality of this water inlet valve. Hoses went on much better than they did on the previous inlet valve that I was replacing.

It worked
Needed a replacement for a washer, the OEM was over $80, this worked fine and looks close to the original. It's a solenoid valve, not much too it. So far, so good. Bought two to have a spare on hand.

save hundreds of dollars by repairing your own washing machine
My reliable twenty year old maytag washing machine finally broke. The water just wouldn't shut off. I turned it off at the water supply for the washing machine, searched for a YouTube video and found out that this is a common problem with washing machines caused by calcium and lime buildup in the water inlet valve. It turns out that this valve fits many brands of washing machines and is super easy to replace. I watched a video on it, ordered the part, and it took maybe ten minutes to replace. Five of that was figuring out how to open the top of my washing machine using a metal painters tool to unlock the hidden latches. I recommend replacing your old rubber water supply hoses with braided metal ones at the same time. The replacement of this valve involved turning off the water supply at the wall, unplugging the electrical cable for the washing machine, opening the top of the washing machine, locating the water inlet valve at the inside back of the housing, taking a few pictures with my phone of how everything looked, then undoing two water supply lines externally and two internally, and removing the two wiring harnesses. undo one or two screws from the back and the water inlet valve will come right out. Reverse process for installation. Just search YouTube for something like "replace washing machine water inlet valve" and maybe your make and model of washer. This saved me from spending hundreds on repairs or buying a new washing machine.

Fits like a glove & has extra mounts.
This simple and effective motor was just what my old machine needed to last a lot long. Easy install... once you get the washer disassembled... and only took a few minutes. It also came with a mounting plate for different models. I just needed the attached screw hole mount.Only con from my end is that the unit screens are plastic and have a small diameter outer edge that is not cleanable, this is compared to the OEM from 25yrs ago which was metal and east to clean out.Overall Im hoping this unit will last as long...

Our washer if FIXED!
We got the part yesterday afternoon and by 7pm last night our washer was fixed! No more laundry room flooding, no more carpet dryer rental, no more cussing (okay, not MUCH cussing... and mostly by my husband when he couldnt get the tabs on the washer to go back together). The part came fast, works as intended and was MUCH cheaper than the repair shop.

If you have some basic tool skills, you can save a fortune.
The washer was "screaming" every time it filled with water. Did some research on Youtube and determined that the solenoid was going out. I ordered the replacement. I am pretty handie with tools and I was able to swap the actual part out on my Whirlpool washer in about 15 minutes with another 15 in prep/test/cleanup time. Repair guy was gonna charge $100 to come out + diagnostics with another $100/hr labor (1 hour minimum) plus parts (and mark-up). So I saved myself north of $200 doing this myself.Tip: Swapping the part is easy just a few screws, some hose clamps, and a connector. HOWEVER, do yourself a favor and take a picture of the connector to make sure you are putting it on the right side up. You can install it upside down. It won't work and it will be a huge PITA to remove.
