The closet rods and associated hardware are outstanding in quality. The rods are much preferable to wooden dowels or typical closet systems. I found this while looking at the better quality closet systems and saw that many of them use the D.H.S. products for the closet rods. The project I had involved a walk-in closet in an old home with irregular plaster walls. The dimensions of my closet were not sufficient to support the various (expensive) closet systems. The main requirement from my wife was that we have more hanging space. These outstanding rods permitted me to design a hanging space compatible with the limits of the space, at a fraction of the cost. The products were delivered within two days direct from the kitchen table of Mike and Lee Dugan of Dugan Hardware Systems. Within a day of my order I received a personal email from Mike and Lee asking about how their product suited my needs. Nice touch. I purchased these supports to hang a 75-pound rubber horse stall mat to be used as an indoor archery target backstop. These supports are very durable and I mounted 2 pairs of them into by basement joists and used two 5/16" round steel rods to hang the stall mat. Works perfectly. The finish on these supports is also very nice and they ship with the required screws needed for mounting. Installation was very easy, just drill the required pilot holes for the two mounting studs and screw-hole and you're done! Excellent product and highly recommended. Also speedy shipping.

Wall thickness not sufficient for 8’ length, sags/bows terribly once clothes is hung on it. Had to add wire ties at several points to keep from sagging.

Perfect for the IKEA brimnes wardrobe. One of the plastic brackets that it came with had broken. This took no time to install and has been holding up well for the past couple of weeks. The rod sits securely in the bracket. I would just advise to drill a hole for the screw to go into first as opposed to trying to force the screw through the wardrobe as I first did. It is small and easy to lose.

This worked perfectly for our new closet and very strong. We have a 96” length with a lot of clothes on it. Two supports in the middle. Also this shape has a better look than a simple round rod

These were hard to find in my area - and could only be ordered in bulk online. This pack was high quality easy to cut (after measuring twice “thanks Norm”)
