Lost Woods: The Discovered Writing of Rachel Carson

I have read two of Rachael Carson's four books; a must read for anyone who is concerned about the environment that sustains all life

And I thought Rachel Carson was only about SILENT SPRING. This book is an absolute treasure of her writings and musings. A MUST READ for every environmentalist on the planet!!!

We gave it to our 16 year old grand daughter who has an interest in the sciences. It is probably about the best philosophical background for the natural sciences one can read. Carson's writings did more for starting a growing environmental awareness than just about anyone else.

It was a jpy to read.

Thoughtfully compiled by her primary biographer, Very interesting and readable. Put together in chronological order which gives an excellent overview of RC's thought.
