Very sharp knife, good quality

I am so pleased with this little knife, I have to say it is one of the best knifes I have purchased and was very good value. Ideal for peeling and cutting fruit and veg, you just need to be careful of your fingers as it is very sharp!

Fab little knife. Purchased originally for my daughter to use for jointing poultry (great for small incisions and removing breast meat). When I managed to break the original, I had no hesitation in ordering a second one. Love a good sharp knife and find blunt ones far more dangerous (this applies to my kids using them too).

I have this a year, bought it on Amazon. It goes in and out of the dishwasher and is lasting well. Great for peeling fruit. Handy and sharp with a great hold.

For some reason all my paring knives disappear, assume end up in bin with potato seedlings. So decided to replace with this one. Fits nicely in hand, and is definitely sharp, as the cuts on my hands will testify. It's only when you get a new knife you realise how blunt the old one must have been. Would recommend.

I bought this knife because I snapped the tip off my old one being a fool. I'm glad things worked out the way they did because this knife is nice to hold and work with, and was razor sharp when it turned up. A great buy.

The utility knife is as sharp and attractive (mauve handle) as the chef’s knives.

Easy to use, very sharp, and cleans up easy in the dishwasher with no stains or rust after several months. The handle is easy to hold and the knife is very light weight which makes it easy to adjust your cuts. It feels "nimble" when wielding. About the only improvement I would like is a slightly heavier handle to tone some of the nimbleness down and give it slightly better balance. Overall though, an excellent knife that I'm enjoying in the kitchen.

This is my third Mercer Culinary knife in this series. My Mercer knives are comfortable to use, sharp, and highly rated by culinary pros. This model comes in different handle colors if you want to color-code for meat, fish, vegetables, etc.--or just want to easily find your knife among a drawer of others. It feels good in hand and I use this paring knife daily.

I have purchased several of these (in other colors) and they are my go-to paring knives. They come with and keep a very sharp edge which can be touched-up in seconds if needed. The handles are comfortable for my hand (I wear a size 9 or 10 glove) and evidently they fit other smaller hands in the house quite well... because they seem to always be in the dish drainer when I am looking for them. I would buy again. [We have a Mercer bread knife and it is also top-notch....which is what caused me to look at these in the first place.]
