I read an article on wirecutter recently which recommended this model as the best steam mop, the article was very cautious about using a steam mop on any form of wooden floor though. I however, have no love for my wooden floor given that it was installed with some issues so I don't mind if it gets a bit of abuse. Anyway, my main point here is that I have used the Bissel on my constructed wooden floor on the light steam setting with no ill effects. It leaves the surface slighty damp which quick dries. I have been using the high steam setting on my tiled floors which gave impressive results too. I think this is very good unit, I'm impressed with the design and construction, and I like how it comes with 2 x reusable mop heads and scented discs (which smell like fresh laundry). I have used the vacuum alongside the mop and it does a good job. I'd obviously prefer to mop after giving the place a good vacuum with my usual hoover but this is great if you missed a bit along the way. Emptying the dirt chamber is also really easy, as is filling the unit with water. It comes with a very handy filling jug that attached to the stem when not in use. I think the main attraction to this product is that it makes mopping regularly an easy thing to do- it's expensive but I will actually use it way more often than the traditional mop and bucket.

I would give more stars if I could. Along with the dishwasher this is the most useful appliance for my house. I live in a large house with 2 floors, a 4 year old and 4 cats, and my house has a backyard... you do the math. This is a life saver. I use it on ceramic floor with max steam and on hardwood floor with normal steam. My floors have never been so clean. I tried it today on some cat food dry stains on ceramic floor. Perfect results after 2 or 3 times. I wash the cloths by hand with warm water and pre washing powder and then detergent. I get them clean in 5 minutes. As for the noise it's only when you use the vacuum and it's not worse than any normal vacuum. With just the steam it's silent. The cord is a good length. It's not as heavy as I thought, I find it easy to use. It gets close to the baseboard and corners. The only problem is below furniture but in my case it's not enough to annoy me. One of the best things is the filter and dirt container never gets wet, the steam doesn't get in there. It's great because it's easier to clean and I think it will last longer. It's easy and straightforward to clean, I use a brush to get everything out. After a few months use I cannot praise this enough. Also I found out that you can remove the wheels and their axis to remove my long hairs that get wound around them.

What a waste of money, vacuum is very load and inefficient, doesn't even suck up the lightest debry..you are better off using a handheld sweeper and mop. Great idea but doesn't live up to your slightest expectations. I bought a Kärcher again..this bulky, heavy thing is just collecting dust (not in a good way) standing there in a corner being an eyesore. Never buying a bissell product again, this was the first amd last..the Germans do it better and cheaper.

I purchased this with some skepticism after having previously purchased a Bissel Steam and Vac that broke shortly after I bought it a couple of years ago. This one looks much better made (even against the most recent model) but this makes it quite heavy to move, so people with back problems might not find it as easy as expected. However, you don't need to use it very long and is much quicker than sweeping and then mopping a floor (and I used to find my floors quite often still felt gritty. I found the floors were really clean using the Bissel Steam and Vac). I have a dog with long hair who molts all year round, but as long as you use this daily, the cleaner seems to cope very well. I have older lino that is a nightmare to clean but this cleaner got all the grunge up very quickly and effectively. The dampness left by the steamer was dry by the time I moved to another section of floor. Even first time of using, i had the medium sized kitchen floor and hallways clean within 15 mins. The cleaning head is supposed to be easily detachable but I found it a bit of a pain to attach (you are supposed to put the whole thing on top of the mop section, and it clicks in) and until you get it right, it just comes apart again. But perhaps this is bad newby technique lol. Once it was on, it stayed on. The steam initially took a bit of time to come through and the pump in the steamer makes a thumping noise for 30 seconds as it pumps the water through. But once the steam starts coming through you can start. 30 seconds is all you need for this to happen. I did use both mop heads and both were very dirty but in the past I have rinsed them in biological washing liquid solution and reused them on really filthy floors. But you might need spare mop heads if you need to clean dirty floors frequently. The mop heads aren't the ones that use hook and loop (that quickly doesn't work) tape to stick to the cleaner, they are elasticated and wrap around the plastic mop head apparatus. So will last. They are good quality, nice and thick with one able to 'scrub' the floor. Certainly worked on my floor. The cleaner also comes with 2 fragrance discs, the instructions aren't very clear, you add them to a pouch on the underside of the mop head. If you like using herbal oils, I assume you could just spray them onto the mop head. And as I bought this on a lightening deal offer, I didn't have to pay £149.99 for it, thank you Amazon! In summary, a high quality steam and vac cleaner I'd buy again and recommend highly.

Product bought new and already defective right out of the box. The steam function does not work. Tried calling customer service a few times already but they don't even answer and keep telling you to call back later. At the moment highly discouraged to purchase this product!

Ich war schon länger auf der Suche nach einem Gerät, welches zugleich saugt und wischt, um mir einen Arbeitsschritt zu sparen. Bisher habe ich immer die Wohnung gesaugt und habe anschließend mit einem Dampfreiniger durchgewischt. Das Putzen mit dem Dampfreiniger gefällt mir super. Man braucht keine chemischen Reiniger mehr und muss auch keinen Putzlappen auswringen. Auf diesem Prinzip wollte ich gerne aufbauen und suchte daher bevorzugt einen Dampfsauger, um mir eben einen Arbeitsschritt zu sparen. Durch Zufall tauchte während meiner Suche auf Amazon der Vac&Steam als Vorschlag auf. Es handelte sich noch um das Vorgängermodell 11332N. Ich habe mir jede einzelne Bewertung durchgelesen und kam zu dem Entschluss, dass dieses Gerät genau das ist, was ich gesucht habe. Amazon zeigte mir an, dass in Kürze das neue Modell 1977N erscheint, also habe ich auf den Erscheinungstermin gewartet und das Gerät dann auch direkt bestellt. Als der Vac&Steam eintraf, musste er noch montiert werden. Der Schiebegriff musste mit dem Hauptgerät verbunden werden, sowie der Fuß noch am Gerät montiert werden. Das ging ganz einfach und schnell und schon konnte es losgehen. Das Gerät macht insgesamt einen hochwertigen und stabilen Eindruck. Zur Handhabung: Als erstes befüllt man den kleinen Wassertank auf der Hinterseite des Gerätes mit dem mitgelieferten Messbecher. Es wird empfohlen destilliertes Wasser zu benutzen. Man kann den Füllstand von außen gut erkennen (wurde beim Vorgängermodell in Bewertungen bemängelt). Es passen insgesamt 384ml hinein (lt. Anleitung). Unter dem Wassertank befindet sich ein Wasserfilter. Dieser muss in gewissen Abständen ausgewechselt werden (wenn sich die grünen Körnchen im Filter blau färben ist es Zeit). Als nächstes muss man nur noch den unteren Teil vom Wischfuss lösen und auf diesen einen der beiden mitgelieferten Wischbezüge aufziehen und ihn wieder anklicken und schon kann es losgehen. Man kann entweder nur saugen, nur damfen oder beides gleichzeitig. Wenn man die Dampffunktion aktiviert, fängt ein weißes Licht an zu blinken. Wenn es aufhört zu blinken und dauerhaft leuchtet ist das Gerät aufgeheizt und man kann mit dem Dampfen beginnen. Das geht wirklich super schnell. Es dauert nur 30 Sekunden (bei unserem Dampfreiniger dauert es an die 10 Minuten). Der Umgang mit dem Gerät ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, wenn man bisher immer Geräte zum hinterher ziehen hatte, aber es ist kein großes Problem. Das Gewicht finde ich noch in Ordnung und ich bin eine sehr zierliche Person, aber ich komme gut zurecht. Das Kabel muss man immer ein wenig aufrollen, damit es nicht im Weg ist. Ansonsten muss man nur darauf achten immer von hinten nach vorn zu schieben, da der Sauger vor dem Wischer sitzt. Wenn man den Schmutz erst mit dem Lappen feucht gemacht hat, lässt er sich leider nicht mehr einsaugen. Man gewöhnt sich aber schnell daran. Wir haben Laminat, Fliesen und Holzdielen in unserer Wohnung. Außerdem 2 kurzflorige Teppiche in den Kinderzimmern. Auf allen Böden reinigt er wirklich zufriedenstellend. Es gibt keine Streifen und es wird alles sauber. Auch wird es selbst auf der hohen Stufe nicht sehr nass und trocknet auch sehr schnell ab. Bei unserem Dampfreiniger wird es wesentlich nasser und es dauert entsprechend länger bis es trocken ist. Auch für unsere Holzdielen, die versiegelt sind, ist der Feuchtigkeitsgrad volllkommen in Ordnung. Auch die Reinung der Teppiche funktioniert ausreichend. Lediglich in der Küche, in der wir die Holzdielen haben, sauge ich noch einmal wöchentlich mit dem richtigen Staubsauger. Hier hat der Vac&Steam zu wenig Power um die Krümmel und Essensreste unserer Kinder vollständig aus den Dielenfugen zu holen, aber hier hat selbst unser normaler, beutelloser Staubsauger Probleme. Und auch die Couch wird einmal pro Woche mit dem Polsteraufsatz vom normalen Staubsauger abgesaugt. Ansonsten geht aber alles in einem Rutsch. Ein vorheriges Saugen ist nicht nötig. Wir haben allerdings keine Haustiere und es wird in der Wohnung auch nicht mir Straßenschuhen gelaufen. Dafür haben wir aber 2 Kinder, die auch ein wenig Schmutz machen. Natürlich kommt der Vac&Steam nicht in jede Ecke hinein und leider (das ist mein einziger negativer Punkt) nicht unter die Betten, da er dafür zu dick ist. Die Ecken, hinter Schränken u.s.w. muss man dann in gewissen Abständen doch mal mit dem normalen Sauer mit Rohr oder Aufsätzen aussaugen. Aber das muss man ja auch nicht unbedingt jede Woche machen. Ansonsten ist der Vac&Steam ein super Helfer, vor allem bei großen Räumen. Bei kleinen, verwinkelten Räumen hat man eher viele Stellen, wo er nicht hinkommt, aber auch hier kann er eine Erleichterung sein. Wir haben ein Fachwerkhaus mit kleinen (und dadurch auch mehr vollstellten Räumen) und trotzdem möchte ich ihn nicht mehr missen. Die Reinigung ist auch relativ einfach. Durch komplizierte Reinigung waren einige andere Geräte aus meiner Auswahl ausgeschieden. Hier muss man lediglich den unteren Teil vom Wischfuß wieder abnehmen. Den Wischbezug in die Wäsche tun und das Teil mal mit Wasser abspülen, trocknen und wieder ran klicken. Außerdem die 2 kleinen Schlauchstücke seitlich raus nehmen, kurz ausspülen und wenn sie trocken sind wieder einsetzten. Zuletzt nur noch den Staubbehälter rausnehmen uns ausleeren (mache ich nicht jedesmal) und gelegentlich den Filter in diesem säubern. Je dreckiger der Filter ist, desto mehr lässt die Saugkraft nach. Das ist das selbe Prinzip wie bei unserem beutellosen Staubsauger und auch schnell gemacht. Mein Fazit: Absolute Kaufempfehlen. Der Preis ist auch absolut in Ordnung, wenn man bedenkt, dass es Geräte gibt mit Saug- und Wischfunktion, die über 1000 Euro kosten ist man hier für etwas mehr als 200 Euro gut bedient. Bis auf das Manko, dass er nicht unter die Betten kommt, habe ich nichts am Gerät auszusetzen und bereue den Kauf in keinster Weise. Update 07.11.2017: Leider muss ich nach nicht ganz 5 Monaten der Nutzung einen kleinen Mangel feststellen. Das Einfüllfach für das Wasser ist leider undicht geworden. Seit kurzem läuft Wasser beim Einfüllen unten aus der Klappe heraus. Das ist sehr ärgerlich, weil das Wasser dann am Gerät herunterläuft und sich unterm Gerät eine Pfütze sammelt. Ich halte jetzt beim Einfüllen einen Putzlappen unter die Klappe, damit das Wasser aufgesogen wird, bevor es am Gerät herunterläuft. Ich werde das weiter beobachten. Meine Bewertung bleibt erstmal bei 5 Sternen, weil ich ansonsten absolut zufrieden bin.

Já queria ter uma a algum tempo e decidi comprar, baseei-me nas opiniões e decidi apostar. Foi a minha melhor compra de todos os tempos. Tenho uma casa muito grande e passava um dia inteiro para limpar, agora com a Bissell eu arrumo a casa super rápido na metade do tempo que eu costumava gastar. Ela veio com uma esfregona sobressalente e com dois discos de cheiro. O depósito da água é pequeno mas só é preciso enche-lo uma vez e meio e consigo limpar tudo. Nós cantos tem o problema do design pois não chega nos cantos, de frente mas de lado vai 😏, e o melhor é que eu limpo minhas carpetes e ficam excelentes. Ela é um pouco pesada mas penso que por isso ela limpa bem, no geral, acho que deveria comprar sim, pq vai te poupar todo o trabalho de aspirar e depois lavar, pq a Bissell faz isso ao mesmo tempo e faz muito bem.
