After having spent much more money on expensive hand creams (Aesop, First Aid Beauty, Necessaire, etc.), I can say that for me, this No. 7 product is the best and most effective I've tried so far. The search is officially over. Who knew that the Boots of my English childhood would put out a line of such well-regarded skincare products? This is the first No. 7 product I've tried since I was in my teens, and though it's only been a bit over a week since I started using it, the back of my hands look smoother (though I can't yet speak to its longer term anti-aging effects), and over all, my hands feel well moisturized, without any greasiness. And the claims that it's still effective after hand washing is true -- you won't notice any residue, but after washing my hands, they don't feel like they need another immediate application of the cream. Unlike every other hand cream/lotion I've used over the years, I can actually apply this cream, wait just a couple of moments for it to absorb, and not have to wipe off my fingers for fear of glopping up my keyboard or anything else I touch afterward. Also, because I don't have to wipe my fingertips with a tissue after applying, I'm not removing the product, and my formerly dry/peeling fingertips are now smooth and no longer peeling after just two applications a day for the past several days. The cream consistency is luxurious, but not too thick, so it's easy to apply, absorbs quickly and massages easily into cuticles. I've never had an issue with weak nails, so I was surprised to discover that this cream has apparently made mine seem stronger, and as a bonus, my nails have a subtle sheen to them, as if I'd used a nail buffer. Also, my cuticles have never looked better, with no need (so far) to use a separate cuticle cream, making this already reasonably-priced product a great value. Though I don't love the scent, it doesn't linger very long, and isn't off-putting, so I'll definitely be ordering this again, and for as long as it's available.

This cream is nice and thick and actually makes my hands look and feel better. Winter is so hard on my hands! They feel dry and itchy and they look like dried out old lady hands. This cream does wonders and it doesn't break the bank. The tube is small enough to fit in my purse or my car console. The downside is that whole clean smelling, it just isn't a super flattering scent. My friend asked me why I smelled like a dentist office.....so don't rely on it for your daily scent choice!!!

Smell good and soft hands

No major improvement after the first application, but it feels nice, not sticky or greasy, aborbs very well and smells great at first and leaves a faint smell once it absorbs into the skin. I've been looking for a good hand cream, it's the one area that really is creepy!

Lightly perfumed, easily absorbed hand cream. I've not been using it long enough to determine whether it will stop my nails from splitting.

Great hand cream. I am a health care worker and my hands take a beating especially in the cold winter months. This has helped tremendously and do not make it hard to put gloves on.

I wanted to give it one star, but that would be unfair. Why? The fragrance overpowers any benefits it has. It's still a bit oily after you rub it in, but not atrociously bad, just need a few minutes to fully absorb. Lovely texture. I would of kept it, if it didn't have the over arching old floral/soft musk, in your face fragrance. A nose full while I bring a drink to my mouth is the last thing I want in a hand lotion.

This is the best hnd cream EVER! I have one in the bathroom and one at my desk. They make my hands soft and cuticles always look great
