Good for the price
Definitely good for the price especially since prices on PVC accessories/fittings seems to keep going up. I would have just made one in the past but this is nice and comes with a clamp. I saw in some of the other reviews some people don't seem to know how to fully utilize this, you need to have your heels on the very edge of a bench so you can extend your feet down as far as you can go. Basically you are doing the opposite of calf raises so you want full range of motion, and its kind of weird to set up with higher weights but this is the most reasonably priced way to go beyond simply leaning back and doing tibia raises. Anyways, the main reason I'm actually taking time to leave this review is so far this has basically solved my problem with shin splints. Before, my legs would kill me even after just a 2/3 mile run even after months of training. Within a week of adding this in to my normal lifting routine I seem to have regained normal recovery times again. Anyone experiencing shin splints should look into this.

Enables me to easily to sit-ups in my living room using my sofa.
I put the sponge sleeves on the bottom rung instead of the top, and I flipped the tib bar upside down, and put the barbell bar all the way under the front of my sofa. (There's just enough vertical space from the carpet to the lower lip of the front of the sofa for that.) It's stable, and allows me to do sit-ups in front of my sofa whenever I want to. Nice!

High Quality Bar
I'm using this bar with a twenty pound weight, mostly just to hold me down. Resistance while I'm doing abdominals. It's perfect! Really well made. I am pleasantly surprised and impressed.

Broke after 1 week
Been using for about a week with nothing heavier than a 25lb plate. Broke off where the weight is held. Looks like it’s barely welded in there. Skip

Nice addition for the workout room. Add weights to it and it supports ab workouts.

Exactly as described.
I tried this using two 45 lb. plates. It was effective when doing sit ups.
