Excellent buy!
I bought these sandals for dog walking through woods, across a field, and pavement walking. when ordering I followed the direction of reviewers and bought a size smaller than my usual size 7. I’m pleased that I did because size six fits me perfectly . Width wise they are what I would expect from a sports sandal; that is a little bit wide than the average width d in a dressy shoe. I feel that you need extra width in the summer when it’s hot. The Velcro straps on each side & the toggle on top give them plenty of adjustability. I chose the red&grey however I would describe them as raspberry pink rather than red. Very attractive colour. They arrived very quickly & I tested them out on our dog walk this morning. Very comfortable, airy& absorb shocks on rough ground. At this point can’t fault them. Excellent price. Will also add that if anyone is unsure about buying them because the insole has a raised pattern , (I was ) I really haven’t found it a problem. When you start walking you don’t notice it . It probably adds to the air circulation.

Invaluable when travelling in Southeast Asia
Took these on a 2 week tour of Vietnam, ordered last minute and hoped for the best as didn’t have time to trial beforehand. They didn’t let me down, they survived motorbiking, hiking, kayaking and more! I wore them on hot days with socks, I know I know, but black trainer socks barely notice and made the shoes slightly more comfortable in the humidity (otherwise the plastic sole gets a bit sweaty). No blisters, rubbing or sores of any kind which is amazing considering I walked 20km+ some days.I have quite wide feet so they were great for me but might be a bit on the wide side for anyone with narrow feet. I’m usually a 6 and the 6 fit fine.

Throw away sandals...new pair once a fortnight
They are comfy. No blisters etc even from new BUT:They last "5 minutes".I have had three pairs now (because...comfy etc) but when first pair failed (heel bed just collapsed super fast then hole in sole meant feet were meeting tarmac) I thought I would try another pair (maybe pair one was just a fluke...)However, pair two failed in exactly same way but faster.Third time lucky...from different supplier in case it was an issue. This pair faiped WITHIN DAYS.Returned to Amazon for full refund.Unless you are happy spending c. £20 a fortnight on sandals, these sandals are a false economy. If you want them you will have to buy into them being throw away shoes.I won't be giving anyone a fourth attempt to supply a reliable product.

Great comfortable sandals at at very good price
This is my third pair of this shoe. I have wide feet, very prone to rubbing and blisters and I walk A LOT. These sandals are extremely comfortable and wear very well. When they get dirty they clean up well and dry fast. I've worn them in the wet and they are still comfortable. Only downside is your feet can get very dirty, and like all sandals are prone to pebbles getting in. With my first two pairs after a bit of use the back of the internal heel plastic (under the shoe inner) got crushed a bit with the pressure of my heel, leading to sinking in of the heel and the sole edge plastic catching on the back of my heel. I fixed this by lifting up the inner sole and slipping in half a wooden ice lolly stick to pad out the sunken bit (internally it's a sort of honeycomb of plastic, clearly not up to the pounding of the heal). This worked a treat - the lolly sticks have been in there over a year! The second pair of sandles with this issue are still kicking and I use them regularly. I've done 12-15miles in these with no problems.I just got this new pair, for a change of colour, and also as the old ones are looking a tiny bit tired if I wanted to wear them somewhere nice without a good scrub. I have to stay I've worn this new pair quite a lot now, and the heals haven't sunk, so maybe PDQ have addressed this problem. Even if the heels did sink I'd still recommend these shoes, as a snapped in half wooden lolly stick popped under the inner is a small price to pay for comfort. Every other sandal rubs my feet, so I'm sticking with these. You can't argue with the great price either!

A good shoe for summer walking
I have broad feet so I wasn't massively hopeful but these are a great fit. We've been out hiking with the babies and the dog a few times in the last week since they arrived and they are great. Half of the time, I'm carrying my 18 month old on my shoulders and holding my 3 year old's hand on tricky slopes and I am confident of the grip I have in these shoes. They needed a good wash yesterday because our walk took us over some dusty reclaimed land but a rinse under the tap and a bit of a scrub of the insole with a nailbrush was all they needed.I'm liking the textured insole as it has a bit of a massaging effect. You can feel enough of the ground under your feet to know what you are walking on and they have good flexibility. I've worn them all day a few times and my feet have been fine, I would have expected them to ache a little but they haven't.

I love these. They look lovely and as other reviewers ...
I love these. They look lovely and as other reviewers have mentioned you should order a size smaller. I am wide footed and 6.5 and I ordered the 6. There is still room and will hopefully make good walking sandals and thus will allow for feet swelling a little. The soles are nice and thick and so will cushion the heels and support the foot and that's what I need. They arrived very promptly and so I am exceptionally happy with the service also.I've done a couple of short walks (4-5 miles) with these sandals on and I must say that they are really comfortable and feet don't hurt the next day.

Seem a good stylish trekking shoe
Some reviews have said that this shoe is on the big size and they needed to re-order a size smaller. I found the shoe to be just the right fit - I purchased a size 5 (for my daughter who is usually size 5 in all her other shoes - but I would say she has a wide foot). I purchased them for my 13 year old daughter to change out of the walking boot during a forthcoming trek to India. My fussy daughter said she liked the style and are comfortable so that is a bonus - will need to wait until July to see what the performance is like - but other reviews I've read have been positive.
