I hope it doesn't have protien in it. I use this as a mask and as a leave in. It works great and smells amazing. **Q: any chance this product comes unscented? for my girls, and they are sensitive to smells. Product was recommended to me** A: The product I purchased is scented. Personally, out of all the hair products I've used in my life I have to say this one has the BEST scent ever. However, for someone sensitive to smells I don't know how that would work...
