Smooth handsome finish. So beautifully balanced, I could control it with my fingertips and didn't need to grip the handle so hard. Does not clatter out of the pot, or slip down in it. Made spaghetti with thick meat sauce, then used it to portion and package meals in Ziplock bags. Fits in and maneuvers easily. The bowl of the spoon is shaped to clean the corners of the pot easily. Pleasure to use, it has become my favorite cooking/serving spoon. I am ordering another. Looks nice on the table. An excellent hostess or housewarming gift.
