Simple and Effective Solution for Fixing Your Cycling Shorts
Used on two pairs of cycling shorts and have to say I am very impressed. One of the mends was very near a seam and one was a large hole on the side - both caused from crashes. It took me about 40 minutes realistically to apply to both shorts. Careful cutting was required! Because it says on the description it is for neoprene I assumed the patch would be thick but it wasn't. It took a long time to iron because I wanted to make it perfect - I definitely recommend spending a lot of time on this! Strangely, on the shorts with the hole located near the seam the patch seems to be holding up better than the shorts with the patch in the middle of the lycra, however I didn't use much of the product and after countless washes I could easily rip the patch off and reapply (much more viable than buying a new pair of shorts!)

excellent repair patch
I needed something to repair my cycling shorts as others mentioned the patches work great need to spend a but of time when ironing the patch on and make sure you get the right temp on the iron I set mine to wool setting dont rush the repair so far so good the repair is lasting no signs of coming off after many wash cycles :)

Brilliant product
I bought this product after putting a hole in my new cycling shorts and didn't want to throw them away after spending a lot on them! Been out on two rides with the repair and isn't showing any signs of coming off! Would recommend to anyone

didn't work
Bought this to fix a small tear in my wetsuit. I followed the instructions to the letter - the patch did not attach. Don't bother with this product

great repair for torn bib shorts
After a 30mph+ fall off a road bike, needless to say there were a few tears in a new set of expensive castelli bib shorts...shame to bin them when there is a lot of wear left in them. I saw reviews for this product and thought I'd give it a go...and glad I did...for less than a tenner,I've salvaged the bib shorts and this stuff is an excellent repair. The shorts have been through the wash many times since and the repair hasn't budged!! Simply brilliant and well worth the money....there's plenty material left as well for more repairs....get some bought

Reasonable
Used to mend a hole on the knee in a pair of lycra cycling tights. Not the best of places as it gets the greatest flex so I expected the patches not to last. Took quite a bit of effort to get the patch to stick. First use they started to lift at the edges. Second use became worse. So have tried gluing the edges and corners to see if that holds. The main part of the patch however has stayed firm. So reasonably pleased. Probably works better on flatter material that gets less flex.

Easy to apply, seems to stick well.
Can't speak for longevity but I crashed a lycra skinsuit and shredded the hip and parts of the arm. Bought this stuff after trawling some forums. It's remarkably simple to apply and sticks brilliantly when you get the iron temp right. I'll update after a few washes if the glue fails but I'm not expecting it to.

Used to repair my cycling bib shorts
I crashed on my bike and had several large holes ripped into my lycra cycling bib shorts. The holes were essentially parts of fabric that just abraded off as I slip on the pavement, so there was no underlying fabric when I put the patch on. The largest hole was about 3" in diameter. Since the shorts were fairly expensive, I thought that I would give this repair a try, versus throwing out the shorts. After putting the patch on (using a hot iron) I had one corner that refused to stay adhered to the shorts. I had to iron it several times in order to get it to stick (I was always afraid of keeping the iron on too long and melting the lycra). In the end, I just kept the iron on longer and longer each time the corner of the patch started to come off the fabric. After the last time, the patch has stayed on even after several washings. The patch material is flexible and stretchy and I would highly recommend it for those of you looking to repair lycra. The patch is a really good repair for what I thought was an unrepairable hole. The patch fabric is not super thick and is quite stretchy...just like lycra. Very happy with this and I recommend it.

So far so good
Used it on a hole in my wetsuit armpit and bum. A little stitching and then this patch over the top and so far it works well , could have gotten longer life out of several wetsuits if i had have known about this patch earlier.
