ECO SOUL 16 Oz Disposable Paper Coffee Cups with Lids (25 Pack)

Last year we got surprised when a hurricane came through our area and knocked the power out for three days. That sent me on a mission to find every possible item I could that would be useful for a time like that. Since it’s safer to preserve as much of your running water as possible during a power outage I looked around for products that I wouldn’t have to wash, like disposable dinnerware, cups, lids, and cutlery. I was concerned though about what I would be throwing away, which led me to compostable products. Though I bought this item during the summer of last year I didn’t try it until recently. I wanted some sleeves and it was a good thing that I bought some before trying these cups. To be fair I only tried one, as a test, and to even up how many would be left. For two people I would need twenty-six cups and lids. After making my coffee in a different cup I poured it into one of these and the cup held up perfectly. No leaking, or collapsing. However, be warned: these get hot. That is why I’m glad to have waited until I bought the cup sleeves. And the lid fit well too. What I don’t like is, once the lid is placed on the cup, you may have to tear it to get it off. So prepare your beverage of choice before putting the lid on. And the cups are reusable if you can do without a lid. I think these were worth my money. That’s why I intend to buy more.

(But hey, at least we’re all saving the planet together!) If you’re one of those who re-uses a cup until it’s basically a coffee-stained relic, you might have to learn to say goodbye a little sooner. They’re sturdy, but they’re not bionic. In conclusion, these ECO Soul cups are an absolute game-changer for anyone looking to sip sustainably and look cool doing it. These are impossible to use without the lid popping off. I really wanted to find a compostable coffee cup solution but I absolutely hate these -- the paper lids are horrible. I finally found other cups from a restaurant supply store with compostable lids that are made with something else (sugar cane? not sure) but at least it is not cardboard that gets soggy and falls off and dumps coffee all over you.

I am ALL for plant-based compostables. These cups look really great and the lids fit well, but do not expect a hot drink to hold sturdy for an extended period of time. We experienced slow shipping, and initially thought the item was never sent, but eventually the box was located. Eco Soul makes great products overall.

I bought these bowls, because they are true planet savers. Made from plant based materials, and resins. Not petroleum based like the major brands. These bowls are real sturdy too. Used some hot soup, and hot cereal in them. Not real big, but good enough for snacks and such. Get quie a few for the price.

It's about time someone came out with plastic-free coffee cups. Most coffee cups in the market have a thin plastic lining on the inside. This leaches BPA's into your hot beverage. This is very bad for peoples health, especially for routine things like morning coffee. This coffee cup however, does not leak at all. I don't know how they do it. But it works and it's sturdy. Definitely will keep buying this going forward.

The feel and texture are nice, but the lid does not consistently fit securely on the cup. Careful!

Hi Eco Soul. I love these cups. I stock them for when we are on the move in the morning. Would love to be able to purchase the cups WITHOUT lids in addition to sets with lids. Please keep making these and I’ll keep buying.

The cups are fine but the fit of the lid is inconsistent and most often not great.

These cups are poor quality and not sturdy enough for any liquids
