I've been looking for a general purpose spatula for months, but could only find cheap boxwood items or unhygienic slotted offerings, or spatulas so thick you couldn't possibly turn an egg in a frying pan with them. I've never liked silicone, in the past they've been inclined to melt if left resting against the side of a hot pan giving off a nasty smell. These however are excellent. They have none of the drawbacks described above and so far have done all that I've asked of them.They are a little bit "twangy", so they tend to flick things like tomato juice out of the pan onto white shirts etc., and for the same reason it's hard to resist whacking my partner's bum with them as she walks past, but I am sure both drawbacks can be overcome with practice and resolve.Excellent.

I'm don't usually get excited by kitchen products but felt compelled to write a review for these rather funky spatulas! The whole set is of much higher quality than I've had before. They are weighty and substantial and are made of a pleasant soft touch material and feel good to hold. They feel like they will last forever which is perfect for a clumsy cook like me. I won't melt, burn, warp or snap them and my pans will remain intact and scratch free. I must also mention the gorgeous bright primary colours - they are too lovely to keep hidden in drawers. Plus I've always wanted a silicon brush; SO much more hygienic than a wooden one. However, the absolute best feature of this set for me is that it is BPA FREE! (BPA is an industrial chemical found in plastics and research has shown negative health effects on the brain, endocrine system and behaviour of foetuses, babies and children.) I would highly recommend this set - you won't be disappointed!

Exactly the material I wanted and each piece is useful on it's own. The orange spatula is great for making roux or flipping crepes, eggs or omelettes. The yellow spoon is great for browning onions and vegetables and then staying to stir the stew, curry or sauce. It's not so good for browning mince as the flat edge is too flexible, but I have my go-to wooden spatula for this (I wish I didn't have to as these are much easier to clean). The green brush really is genius. I used a bristle brush for years and would pull equal measures of my hair out for every bristle it left behind. I haven't used the purple and red spatulas all that much as I'm not overly fond of baking, but they look and feel like they are good quality.Half a year in, I think this set is definitely worth the money.

I’m delighted with my purchase. I love the look and feel of these, they will replace my old wooden and plastic kitchen tools immediately. They really are extremely versatile, the small spatula is a nice surprise – I thought it would only be useful for all the tight spaces but I find myself using it for everything – not just scraping jars but for cooking and mixing etc.One of the main attractions was the fact that they are BPA-free, but I also love that they are really easy to clean and maintain. They seem really quite tough so I am keen to see how they perform in the longer term – I’ve read a bit about silicone for the kitchen and I have high hopes.I’m very pleased with this product.

I don't tend to generally write reviews but was so impressed by this product I felt compelled! I wouldn't normally spend so so much on an item like this but wanted something for baking (amateur!) and general cooking and took a chance on this product due to other positive reviews. The colours are great, brighten up my kitchen and the silicone spoons are superb! No more scratching of the pans, and they're great for scooping virtailly everything out of pans with minimal wastage. They feel very strong too like they'll last a number of years. Very happy with them- buy them you won't want to use your wooden spoons again!

In a moment of madness I got into a baking mood and bought a few gadgets to work with, including these funky spatulas (they actually made up part of a present to myself). They are fantastic quality, a good weight in your hand, and bright enough to liven up any kitchen! Ok, they are a bit more expensive than your average spatula set, but they are certainly built to last, and when you need a quality spatula (even if it's just to make up for not so brilliant baking skills) then these are the set to go for!

Fantastic quality and great value. Slightly more expensive than others but this set is really good quality and really useful for so many jobs. Since having them they are out most of the time and get used all day long. I’m starting to use these instead of my wooden spoons for cooking, they are much easier to clean and dry, and I love the way they clean the sides of the saucepan when cooking so I don’t get the dried on bits on the side of the pan. I love the colours, very pleased I bought this set.

I am very pleased that I bought this. The colours are just gorgeous and the spatulas are genuinely useful too. The handles have a really nice weight and feel making them comfortable to use whether for mixing cakes, scraping a bowl when pouring the mixture into a cake tin or getting out the last difficult to reach bits of mustard or jam from the jar. Finally its great to be able to put them in the dishwasher and that they are BPA free. I will certainly recommend it to my friends and family.
