I’ve had these before and they are one of the best of their type in my opinion and I shall continue to purchase. Some other brands have a bad smell and taste (almost fishy) which doesn’t disappear, whereas these have much less of a smell and taste. In fact, when stir fried you could almost think they were real rice noodles, apart from a slight chewy texture which I guess is to be expected. Would recommend rinsing them before cooking as well, which helps remove any residual smell/taste from the liquid they come in.

They’ve definitely improved the recipe since I last tried this product years ago. Now my family and I can’t get enough. (Don’t be alarmed by the weird smell when you open the pack, btw; that’s the natural smell of the konjaku and it washes away in one or two rinses.) Had this in carbonara, a stir-fry, Tom kha gai, ramen, and with a chicken tagine in the last two weeks! Saved at least 50% of the meal’s calories by using these. Can microwave or wok-fry in 2 mins. Sooooo good.

These noodles are great if you want low carb.They don't have any particular flavour but when added to a tasty spag bol you can hardly tell the difference from spaghetti if you have a good imagination.

I'm really not a fussy eater at all, usually if something doesn't taste the best I eat it anyways, however this product was completely different. The noodles have a rubber like texture that makes them practically inedible. Save your cash, if you're trying to lose weight just introduce more lean protein in your diet, avoid foods like this.
