I really like these knives. I like the all-metal design. It's not made from a single piece of stainless steel. The blade and handle were created separately. But they feel like they've been created from a single piece of metal. The handle is seamlessly attached to the blade. There are no gaps or a visible joint, looks perfect. Very happy overall. We have these in a rental property. Our guests have been commenting on this knife set, which is a first for us. They love how sharp they are. One of our guests ordered their own. We did have a problem with our order. The knives were all perfect as delivered. The wooden block was damaged in manufacturing. It had obviously fallen and had a defect in the finish. I didn't want to send the whole thing back. Such waste. I contacted the company. They were very friendly and prompt in sending us a new block at no cost. It was easy; I contacted them right through the Amazon page. I'd buy this set again. Very good price and quality.

These knives are amazing. After years of trying to find sharp knives these are the sharpest I have found. The stainless steel knives with the dark gray butcher block is such an elegant addition to the kitchen. It does come with the sharpening rod to keep them razor sharp. I can finally stop looking for sharp knives found the perfect set.

I bought these on a whim. I got them on a really good reduced price with coupon. I was genuinely shocked at how good the quality is. High grade stainless, very sharp ( I hope they hold up), perfect variety of sizes, much heavier than expected, and the wooden block has its own sharpener. The "German" made knives being sold today are not the quality that they used to be. That is why I switched with this order. I've used a lot of knives in my day as I have a degree in Food Service from a major eastern university.

So far some of the best knives I have ever purchased, they are extremely sharp, great size and very balanced, not super heavy and have a great handle for grip with the bumps. The only think I’m not sure is how sharp they will stay or if they will rust. I have struggled with rust in the past and it drove me crazy. My plan is to baby these as best as I can so they doesn’t collect rust.
