Amazing high quality distiller
I have been through two distillers in last 10 years and kept fixing the old one for last 7 years with a plastic jug. Finally caught a Christmas deal here and we are very happy. This is the best packaging for a distiller I have ever seen. Everything safely packed in styrofoam. It looks beautiful and high-end. It is more quiet than previous plastic white distiller which was pretty good but not that kind of quality. Another great feature is the glass jar which are quite expensive when you buy them separately. The jar has a grippy silicone bottom that holds onto the surface very well. The distiller looks beautiful and it works perfectly quietly making crystal clear water. I actually fill it with hot water from the faucet so on default 3:30hr there is less water left at the end. It comes with extra carbon cartridges and citric acid for cleaning. The timer and temperature adjustments are very useful. I used to set up a separate plugin timer for water making overnight now I can just adjust the time and leave it with worrying about anything. It is an amazing value especially in this price range and we look forward to drinking even better water for many years!

Good quality product
I have several Vevor products now, and I've been very impressed. This distiller is very high quality, and works great. It makes just a little over one gallon in exactly 3 1/2 hours. Easy to use, and quiet. Yes, there is a small fan on the top of the unit. It's job is to cool the coils that capture the steam, and turn it back into liquid. But the fan is quiet. There are two controls on the unit. One to set temperature, and one to set duration. Different durations and temperature settings to distill different liquids. The only nit-picky complaint I have is that the panel only displays Celsius. There is no Fahrenheit display option.

Great to have when you need pure water on call!
works great so far! Gets my water from 440 ppm, to 18ppm. Plenty good to prevent getting too much calcium in my system. Water tastes great. I have used it every day for two months. Lets hope it holds up. May be cheaper to buy distilled water in bulk, considering the electricity usage into cost, but having it on hand when you need clean water is a great luxury, and I am glad I purchased it.

Frustrating pitcher
With this being less then 1/3 cost of Megahome I figured even if there were some faults it'd be worth it. I was wrong. The handle gets more in the way then helps. When I take the top off and set to the side the handle often sticks out and gets in the way and hits things. Biggest frustration is the glass pitcher jug. Im surprisedmore dont complain. Cant be the unit as i got 2 unless im that unlucky to have both be terrible. You cant pour the water out without spilling 5-30% of it. Whatever you are pouring in must be at least 4 inches wide because the stream gets really wide and wont pour into a smaller hole like on the top of another jug. If you have the flap open most of the water likes to stick to the side and flow down the side of the glass jug and not pour in a stream like any other jug. Its almost like they designed it to be poor on purpose. I've never seen such a terrible pour from any jug reusable or recyclable. It was pretty amazing actually. I started to pour this into my mega home jug to use that jug to pour cleanly. I would recommend a large open jug or a huge funnel. With the loss of water, constant cleanup, and many saying the product doesnt last long, I see no reason to go with this over the MH. Vevor is cheaper but not worth the savings, and it distills a little faster. Thats all it has going for it. Even the timer I find as a downgrade. Now I gotta spend time hitting a bunch of button to extend the time if I want it to complete a gallon. The default setting will get you about 80% of a gallon. MH just requires you to press a reset button and it runs. MH is a lot slicker and if they had a sale I would have stuck with them. The MH has also been in use for 10 years and still runs strong. The timer is supposed to prevent dry boiling or something but the mega home gets hot enough to auto shut off when its out of water so no timer needed. I dont believe thats hard on the MH since I've been doing that with 2 MH units for 10 years and they still run strong. Carbon filter is easier to change in MH too

Looks good, does it's job, has a few quirks
TLDR: pretty good and looks great vs the original white one Some background: I actually had the original water distiller from Vevor before they put the timer on it. It worked great and finally failed after almost exactly 3 years (there seemed to be a short because it melted its power cord and a replacement power cord). Since my concern about that one was actually the lack of a timer, when I saw this new model had one I went for it. Also happily surprised by how good the pictures looked. I've had it a week or so and here's my thoughts. The good: Looks great! The timer works! It does the thing! The not great: -If you change the timer to something else it doesn't change the default. It has to be set to a different time every use. That's not great. -The glass water collector is annoying to pour from especially with the lid still on. It spills. Be careful. -The instructions are pretty bad but is relatively intuitive to figure out without them. The ugly: -This is NOTABLY louder than the last one. Louder than most of my fans on medium speed frankly.

Great product for the price. Pays for itself
I love this thing. My journey with a distiller started with my icemaker actually. I have a nugget icemaker that sits on my counter and after about 4 months of activity it became very noise and began to fail. I contacted that company and they did a replacement but also mentioned that the replacement would last a lot longer if I used distilled water to make ice. So after a few weeks of buying distilled water I started shopping for a distiller. This guy came on sale at just the right time so I took a chance. I've bought several Vevor products and this, just like the rest, works well! I run about 3 or 4 gallons a week to make ice with and to store for other uses around the house (things like the humidifier or my CPAP machine etc... It's quiet, the fan doesn't make a bunch of noise. It's stainless so cleanup is a breeze. It makes about a gallon in about 3 hours. And is basically a set it and forget it situation. At the time Distilled Gallons were priced at about 1.25/gallon. I've run about 3.5 gallons a week since Feb so it's definitely paid for itself by this point (almost 2x).

5 Stars for now
So far this distiller seems to be a really great deal. It is 1/3 the price of a Megahome distiller and seems to be well built. It operates on a timer, a 3.5 hour cycle will produce close to 1 gallon of water. This might be a better method vs making water until the unit runs empty and relies on the thermal shutoff switch to end the operation. My first Mega water distiller lasted close to 16 years, I replaced it with another Megahome unit, but it only lasted 2 years until the distiller pot corroded, cracked and leaked. You can also distill your own home brew with this unit. I have not tried that, but it seems like an interesting bonus feature. It will be interesting to see how long this unit lasts. I make about 5 gallons of water per week. Update: I will deduct 1/2 star. The distiller glass pot dribbles when poured. Annoying.

Efficient Water Distiller with Solid Build and Practical Performance
I am very pleased with the VEVOR 1.1 Gal Water Distiller. Shipping was prompt, and the unit arrived well-packaged and protected from damage. All components were intact, and setup was straightforward right out of the box. The product quality feels robust and thoughtfully engineered. The stainless steel chamber and condenser appear durable and easy to clean, which is important for regular use. The unit operates at 750 W and produces approximately 0.3 gal of distilled water per hour, which aligns with the specifications and is sufficient for household needs, laboratory prep, or health-focused use. The digital timer (0–99 h) adds flexibility, allowing me to run longer cycles without constant monitoring. In terms of performance, the distiller produces clear, clean-tasting distilled water with minimal odor. I appreciated that the system operated consistently and quietly for its class. The included collection bottle and accessories fit well and make the distillation process more convenient. From a value standpoint, this distiller offers solid performance and useful features for the price. Comparable models with similar capacity and digital controls are often more expensive, yet this unit delivers reliable operation and practical usability without unnecessary complexity. Overall, the VEVOR 1.1 Gal Water Distiller combines good build quality, dependable water production, and flexible controls. It represents a strong, practical option for anyone needing distilled water regularly, and I would confidently recommend it for household or small-scale use.
