Two weeks ago I had an injury resulting in a T8 vertebrae compression fracture. The hospital sent me home with a very heavy clamshell back brace. Adjusting the brace is very simple and took about three minutes. Once I put the brace on I felt immediate relief from the pain I was having. Instead of feeling like my back is being compressed, I feel like my spine is being aligned and the pressure is relieved from the fractured area. The brace is light weight and comfortable. This is such a relief as I have been instructed to wear a brace for 12 weeks while the bone heals. I am very happy with this purchase!

Following a fall, I had to use the back brace to treat my injury. The purchase was made by medical staff. 2 tips and 1 negative review. First of all, get someone to help you install and adjust the back brace. And, contact medical personnel! On the negative side, the Velcro fastening at shoulder level is difficult to adjust and not fixed.

I really had my doubts about this, however, THIS THING WORKS AMAZINGLY. Highly Recommend. My Doctor recommended I get a TLSO brace so I went with this one. I went to my spine doctor and he said, this is exactly the same type of brace they use and said good job. It takes a few minutes to adjust the first time, but once you get it, that’s it.

My 90 year old father has a fractured T12 vertebrae and a old, very painful dislocated shoulder. His 1st physical therapist had him purchase a brace that pushed on his dislocated shoulder blade. The pain was intolerable for him. His next physical therapist had him get this brace. While still uncomfortable due to the spinal fracture, he can wear this brace so he can continue his therapy. It is much softer and more comfortable. I would highly recommend it.

We received a brace that was missing a part- the tabs in the back to adjust and hold the brace in place. With the several bar codes on the bag, it had obviously been opened, used, and returned previously.
