Steirerkraft - Premium - Styrian pumpkin seed oil PGI - 500 ml

Purchased after reading research that pumpkin seed oil (which I will now call PSO to save my fingers!) helps symptoms of an enlarged prostate which I am blessed with, so warning, discussions of prostates and urinary flow will follow... In my case the main symptom is slow flow in some cases. It's very hard to decide where to start with zillions of brands of PSO so I started at the high end with this one. It's a green liquid and one of the most water repellent oils I have seen, the taste isn't as bad as some oils I've tried (hemp, walnut etc) but I can't say I would enjoy this over a salad. My other half thinks the taste is nice however. Makes the sink go an interesting green colour. Luckily it isn't staining my teeth (it does stain skin though!).I was quite surprised to find after just three days or so of 10ml twice a day (taken neat at some point during eating a meal) that my flow rate was significantly improved. Side effects include some upset stomach and possibly a migraine trigger (I will update this in a few months with news on that if I remember) which subsided after a week or two and then I dropped down to 10ml once a day. Flow rate still held up, less dribbling and less feeling of urgency. No effect on libido I can tell so far (a side effect of the pharmaceutical drug used for BPH) and unlike in a Korean study my bald patch hasn't sprouted hair. To put the improvement into perspective, in certain cases (after holding on when driving and then going) my flow rate went from painfully slow to almost normal, something that hasn't happened in over 10 years. Please note for the record, I am not on any prescription drugs for BPH as yet.The effect was so definite that I recommended this to a friend with urinary issues connected with prostate (a slow cancer in his case). Interestingly he bought capsules not this bottle but also reported positive results quickly. So I would say this is well worth looking at for BPH and LUTS symptoms and would welcome comments from those who have tried this or any questions, bear in mind I am not a medical professional though.BTW, the 10ml twice a day was just a dose I came up with myself - there isn't really an established value, it's a case of experimenting I think.

Love the pumpkin oil and understand it has some great qualities for health. Will buy again.

take it every morning for years supposed to be good for prostate aslo used it on saids etc
