I really like these sharpeners they do the job and get my knives sharp and very easy to use

I love this little gadget. I've even taken it with me to friends when I've helped with food prep in case their knives are not sharp. Works brilliantly!

I am no good with a steel - I can't do that swish swish movement that chef's are always doing on the telly but I do like a sharp knife.Other knife sharpeners are ok for a while but using them is a bit of a chore.This though, this is the business. It's smaller than I thought it would be, not much longer or wider than my thumb, it's also very slim but it does come in it's own little pouch.To use, place on a flat surface with it overhanging the edge - a kitchen work surface or table top is ideal. You can also use it held in your hand by running it along the knife edge but you will need to be careful. Take knife or whatever it is you're sharpening in one hand, hold the sharpener down firmly wi t'other. Place knife edge in small V shaped gap and then draw the knife down the length of the blade. Two or three strokes and you will be able to feel a nice wee edge, a few more and it'll be razors.It can't be used on serrated blades, use it on anything straight - scissors, knives, lawnmower blades, garden shears etc.I now have some super sharp knives, pen knives and anything else I can put a sharp edge to. It's even handy if you're patient, for doing chisels.It's worth every penny and highly recommended.

Sharpened my blunt Japanese chefs knife in 10 seconds so that I could easily cut a cherry tomato in 8 slices. Moved onto the kitchen scissors and sorted them too. Excellent.

This blade sharpener is perfect in every way. It is small, lightweight, easy and safe to use and sharpens a dull blade in seconds with just a few strokes. It is ideal for the kitchen drawer and backpackers alike and in my opinion beats other style knife sharpeners hands down.
