Lovely Eco Friendly Yarn
I was apprehensive about this yarn after reading some of the reviews, but I'm glad I purchased it. I have the Aqua colour just now and it is paler than the product photography, but it's lovely. Also as another reviewer mentioned, it is a little bit splitty, but I do find that with a lot of cotton yarns. I didn't find that a great hindrance. I have added a close up of my work and I think it crochet up nicely. It says on the band that it's eco friendly "aran," but in the item description aran is not mentioned, and attention should be paid to the item description which IS accurate. I am using a 4mm metal crochet hook. This will split the yarn less than a wooden or plastic one.

Good yarn, but…
I wanted a small cover for a table and didn’t fancy paying over the odds so I bought this yarn for £2.40. I used a 4mm hook and used up most of the yarn. Pros - Cheap, recycled, drapes nicely and end product feels and looks good. Cons - Yarn splits easily, says it’s Aran but I’d class it more as a DK and one of the ply strands was broken mid roll but I was able to carefully continue on. Would I recommend? At this price, yes. You’re getting 100g 80% recycled cotton and 20% recycled polyester and it works up nicely.

I've bought several different colors of this yarn and am pleased so far with the results so far. Easy to work with, crochets well, nice colors, and the multi-packs are reasonably priced.

Lovely cotton yarn! The lavender shade is so pretty, and it’s absolute perfection for making my crochet lavender bookmarks. It works up smoothly on the hook without splitting. Will definitely order again!

Pleasantly surprised
These skeins are deceptively large! I have never used cotton before and was pleasantly surprised. It was relatively easy to crochet with and made a couple of really nice wearables.
