Really great for charcoal work. Nice tooth to the paper surface.

I gave this as a gift to my Granddaughter who is studying Illustration at Uni, it is a good quality paper used for Charcoal drawings and is a purposeful addition to her Art box.

Strathmore quality although this is a lot thinner at just 65lbs. Still perfect and a slight tooth for the charcoal. Nice

Tutor asked that we bring coloured paper for our charcoal drawings and stayed this make mae it. So I order it to arrive in time for class and it’s cream coloured. Disappointed as it’s hard to find l!

I'm no artist, but I found a pack of charcoal pieces in the cupboard and fancy 'giving it a go'

It's a good size for drawing, but I didn't line the surface, too rough, so the drawings looked rough. It does say it is student quality, but I think students would-be put off. I bought a professional quality paper which was smoother, but held the charcoal well .

I’ve been using this brand of paper for charcoal drawings for over 20 years. It’s the best in my opinion as an artist. Great quality and has a texture to it that works great with charcoal

Strathmore is a high quality product. Charcoal paper is great for creating an atmospheric perspective in drawings. Highly recommend.
