It had a little pull-tab to open the rings & loosen the strap, but that piece ripped off. I just put a small piece of thin nylon cord to do the same job. For around $100, that's not too bad for a DOT-approved dome. I purchased this type of half-helmet because I was intent on 'fashioning' a clear shield for wind & bug protection. It wasn't easy! The visor screws on the helmet no longer align with the face shield mounting, like on my old Fulmer Trooper helmet. It proved difficult but I was finally able to do it. But like a jackazz I tightened the plastic screws too tight on the visor and cracked it. So I hadda patch it and do it all over. And it's still holding after thousands of miles of riding.
